  • 12:00PM CST: Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets -8; Total 39.5

The Jets played an incredible game against the Patriots last Thursday Night Football. Aaron Rodgers looked like his prime self but it was against one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL. Not only that but the Jets defense also took advantage of a severely injured Pats offensive line. How good is this Jets team?

The Broncos finally got their first win of the season against the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay last week. Bo Nix looked great and so did the offense. It may be a surprise to most people but Denver has the best pass defense in the NFL. They also have had a tough schedule as their losses are to two undefeated teams in the NFL (Seahawks and Steelers). Maybe the Broncos are a little better than we expected.

It’s going to be the Jets offense against the Broncos defense in this one. Can the Broncos keep this one close? The Jets pass defense is also one of the best in the league but they are weak against the run. If Denver can establish their running game and play tight pass defense they can keep it close. This is my kinky play of the day.

  • 12:00PM CST: Cincinnati Bengals -5 vs. Carolina Panthers; Total 47

The pressure is starting to build for the Bengals as they are winless to start the season. The Panthers finally caught a spark with Andy Dalton in Las Vegas. Something’s gotta give in this one. Carolina has a healthy Jaycee Horn who has been putting star WR’s in hell. Ja'Marr Chase is next on his list. After rewatching the game between the Panthers and Raiders, it was clear that Andy Dalton’s veteran presence really made a difference. He had a great rhythm with the offense. I think it’s too many points for the Bengals to lay on the road. The Red Rifle is back in town and he means business.

  • 12:00PM CST: Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5 vs. Indianapolis Colts; Total 40

The Steelers are undefeated and the Colts are coming off of their first win of the season. The Colts were destroyed by the Packers a couple weeks ago because they couldn’t stop the run. The Steelers entire offense is power running. I am expecting the Colts to be ready to defense the run and make Justin Fields beat them through the air. Colts haven’t been getting much respect and I think it is because of that run defense and Anthony Richardson. AR obviously has all the talent in the world but he is still inexperienced after being injured almost all of last season. I like the Colts getting home points and selling out to stop the run.

Play: Colts +2.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 3:25PM CST: Cleveland Browns -2.5 vs. Las Vegas Raiders; Total 36.5

It is no surprise that the Raiders will be playing without Maxx Crosby and Devante Adams. The Raiders lack weapons and offensive punch. After watching film on the Panthers and Raiders game it was clear Crosby was injured and the Raiders couldn’t get any pass rush. This allowed Andy Dalton to dice up the defense. This is a perfect get right spot for the Browns. I think it’s too much for the Raiders to overcome.

Play: Browns -2.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]
