NFL Sunday Week 3
NFL Season Record: (7-10) (-3.70 units)
12:00PM CST: New York Giants vs. Cleveland Browns -6.5; Total 38.5
The New York Giants should have defeated the Commanders, but they played most of the game without a kicker. They didn’t look terrible. The Browns got a glimpse of how they can play with Deshaun Watson playing like his old self. The G-Men are 0-2 and desperate for a win before the season spirals out of control. The Browns may be a little complacent after last week and let their foot off the gas against the Giants.
Play: Giants +6.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
12:00PM CST: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New Orleans Saints -2.5; Total 49

12:00PM CST: Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts -1.5; Total 44
The Bears are coming off a Sunday Night Football loss against the Houston Texans. The Colts allowed what felt like 400 yards rushing against the Packers in defeat. The defense has been struggling to stop the run, and that will make the difference in the game. The Colts had a rough offensive game against the Packers as well. Anthony Richardson will need to be a playmaker against a Bears defense susceptible to the pass. The 0-2 Colts are desperate for a win. They step up today.
Play: Colts -1.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
12:00PM CST: Green Bay Packers vs. Tennessee Titans -2.5; Total 37.5
The Titans are 0-2 mostly due to their own blunders in each of the first two games of the season. Green Bay could easily be undefeated even with their backup quarterback Malik Willis. This will be a homecoming for Willis after being drafted by Tennessee, where it didn’t work out. The Packers’ defense made strides after the Eagles game by stopping the Colts. Football is a three-facet game, and the Titans have not been good in any. The Packers have the offensive weapons to give the Titans’ defense trouble. I like this return for Malik Willis. The Packers have more talent, but the Titans will be looking to earn their first win.
Play: Packers +3 (-112) [via DraftKings]
12:00PM CST: Los Angeles Chargers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers -2; Total 34.5
The rumor is that Justin Herbert might not play in this game. I think he will still play because he’s tough. Last year, he played with broken ribs. In that game, Herbert played but struggled, and the Chargers were dominated by the Jags. The Steelers can do the same today with their tough pass rush, one of the best in the NFL. I think we could have a repeat of what happened against the Jaguars. The Chargers are 2-0, but that was after wins against the Panthers and Raiders. With all of the negative factors going against the Chargers, I have to take the Steelers. Pittsburgh has the perfect recipe to slow LA down. Can they score enough points? We’ll need them to.
Play: Steelers -2 (-112) [via DraftKings]
3:00PM CST: Carolina Panthers vs. Las Vegas Raiders -5.5; Total 40
It’s no secret that the Panthers have made a change at quarterback, with Andy Dalton starting today. Will the Red Rifle be able to put together a game-winning performance with his team desperate for a win? The Raiders just beat the Ravens, so they might be a little complacent after that. The Panthers could catch the Raiders sleeping today. I think they will. Maxx Crosby also has an ankle injury.
Play: Panthers +5.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
3:30PM CST: Miami Dolphins vs. Seattle Seahawks -4; Total 41.5
Fading Skyler Thompson and the Dolphins. This was an afternoon add 2:10PM CST.
Play: Seahawks -4 (-110) [via DraftKings]
3:25PM CST: Baltimore Ravens -1 vs. Dallas Cowboys; Total 48
The Cowboys’ defense can’t play any worse than they did against the Saints. The Ravens are desperate for a win after starting 0-2. This game may come down to both teams’ defenses. I haven’t been impressed with the Ravens so far this season. The Cowboys have at least shown us something. I think their defense bounces back at home.
Play: Cowboys +1 (-110) [via DraftKings]
3:25PM CST: San Francisco 49ers -6.5 vs. Los Angeles Rams; Total 44.5
Both of these teams are filled with injuries across the rosters. Can Brock Purdy lead the offense without their best offensive weapons? Matthew Stafford will be asked to do the same today. I think we get a defensive game. Stafford and the Rams can keep this one close.
Play: Rams +6.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]
