Dirtbags MLB Tuesday

Yesterday’s DDSN Player of the Day was Mitch Keller who pitched 9 innings with 8 strikeouts, 1 walk and 0 earned runs.

Follow us on twitter after we get y’all some winners! This will help us grow as we continue to dominate MLB.

These prices are per Draft Kings, which are similar to FanDuel if those are available to you. Some use off shore accounts that have more juice than what is listed or are unavailable. If H+R+RBI is unavailable to you then I suggest you split a 1 unit bet 33% each or whatever % you’d like to 1 or 2 hits, 1 run & 1 RBI. You should get + money on 2/3 of those and that will help long term. Or find a way to pair them up in 2’s or 3’s (parlay). For baseball season, I personally bet 1 unit to win X and don’t lay more than -160. This is refers most to player props. Questions? Just ask!

Early Slate

  • 5:00pm cst: Detroit Tigers vs. Cleveland Guardians (-200)

Like we talked about last night, these Detroit Tigers are surging right now winning 6 of 7. I should have trusted my gut to back them last night as Bibee was due for a setback and that is exactly what happened. Michael Lorenzen will be on the mound for the Tigers against the Guardians ace Shane Bieber. It would be tough to go against Bieber at home with the Guardians coming off a loss.

Pick: Josh Bell H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-115)

Michael Lorenzen Strikeouts Over 3.5 (-120)

  • 5:30pm cst: Tampa Bay Rays (-140) vs. Baltimore Orioles

The Orioles are on a three game losing streak for the first time this season and will have rookie Grayson Rodriguez on the mound tonight. Rodriguez was rough up pretty good by the Royals in his last start but will be looking to bounce back tonight. The Rays will have Zach Eflin on the mound who is off to a good start. Again, you won’t get reach fading the Rays and I do not plan on going that route. I’ll try and stay safe here.

Pick: Grayson Rodriguez Strikeouts Over 4.5 (-165)

Anthony Santander H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-115)

  • 5:30pm cst: Colorado Rockies vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (-175)

The Pirates finally snap their losing streak with a huge full game shutout from Mitch Keller. The Pirates desperately needed that. Now, can the Pirates keep it up or slip back into those losing ways?

Pick: Over 8.5 (-115)

  • 5:30pm cst: New York Mets (-165) vs. Cincinnati Reds

Max Scherzer was supposed to make the start today but was scratched for David Peterson. The Reds will have Luke Weaver on the mound to try and get the win. I don’t like betting on games where there was a scratch. I like this one to go over the total, which correlates with a a SP scratch.

Pick: Over 10 (-120)

  • 5:30pm cst: Toronto Blue Jays vs. Philadelphia Phillies (-135)

Alek Manoah will be starting for the Blue Jays and he has not been dominant this season. His command has been poor, which has led to more walks than strikeouts. Phillies are in desperate need of a win.

Pick: Phillies (-135)

Alek Manoah Strikeouts Under 5.5 (-145)

  • 6:00pm cst: Oakland Athletics vs. New York Yankees (-275)

The struggling Athletics are big dogs against Clarke Schmidt and the Yankees. Neither pitcher on the mound tonight has dominating stuff nor have they been in great command recently. I like the potential of runs with these two on the mound or a pass of the game completely.

Pick: Over 9 (-105)

  • 6:00pm cst: Boston Red Sox vs. Atlanta Braves (-180)

This should be a good series with the Red Sox as one of the hottest teams in baseball against the best team in the National League. With the total set at 10 its a little too rich for my blood. I like the Red Sox pricing here to gets some prop wins against Charlie Morton.

Pick: Alex Verdugo H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-120)

Jarren Duran H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (+105)

Austin Riley H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-140)

  • 6:30pm cst: San Diego Padres vs. Minnesota Twins (-115)

The 1st place Twins will be hosting the Padres who will have Michael Wacha on the mound to face home grown product Louie Varland. It is a small sample size but I do not like the numbers the Twins batters have against Wacha. I can’t find anything concrete so this game is a pass for me.

Pick: NA

  • 6:30pm cst: Chicago White Sox (-150) vs. Kansas City Royals

This was a high scoring affair last night. Will it happen again with Lucas Giolito and Jordan Lyles on the mound? One would think so. I don’t want to go towards the total here because there was 17 runs scored last night and that type of production doesn’t happen twice in a row. I would prefer to attack some props to fade these pitchers.

Pick: Salvador Perez H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-125)

Gavin Sheets H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-125)

Elvis Andrus H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-105)

  • 6:30pm cst: Los Angeles Dodgers (-120) vs. Milwaukee Brewers

This was a great game last night until it wasn’t. Joey Wiemer blasted a 3 run homer in the 7th inning that turned into a snowball effect where the Brewers ended up scoring 9 runs in victory. Normally this is where the Dodgers bounce back after an ending like that.

Pick: Dodgers (-120)

Max Muncy H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-105)

  • 6:30pm cst: St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs (-120)

Just as we predicted, the Cardinals finally had some success and took home the victory last night. Nico Hoerner tweaked his hamstring and it looks like Christopher Morel will be making his debut this season at 2B. The total on the game is also much shorter than I would have guessed with Jack Flaherty vs. Jameson Tailon.

Pick: Cubs (-120)

Over 7.5 (-125)
