Seattle Home Run Derby
We will be using prices posted from Draft Kings and BetOnline. I feel like everyone will be riding high on Pete Alonso, rightfully so. If the Seattle young gun Julio Rodriguez can take down Pete Alonso in the 1st round then that should open up the way for him to make a run. Rodriguez has not been as hot as he was last year and he did not have a great showing in the last HR Derby. The story sets up perfectly for him to make a run. On the other side of the bracket I am very high on some dirty dogs: Randy Arozarena & Adley Rutschman. These are huge numbers for a couple very capable players. There are plenty of options to choose from and I am confident we will end up on top.
Let’s have some fun with this year’s Home Run Derby in Seattle!
Home Run Derby Winner [via Draft Kings]:
To win - Adley Rutschman +1700
Adley has a power swing that should translate perfectly for this competition. If he can get passed Luis Robert Jr. he can really make some noise. He will also have his dad throwing him his pitches so there may be some magic in the air.
To win - Randy Arozarena +1000
Arozarena does not get enough recognition for his power. The Rays are always overlooked and undervalued, which is what we have here. He will face Adolis Garcia who I would have chosen if he was the underdog but instead it is Arozarena. Vamos Randy!
