Big 12 College Baseball Tournament: Day 2
2023 Big 12 Tournament at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas
The 1st round of the Big 12 Tournament will be kicking off today at Globe Life Field. After the Big 12 regular season finished in a three way tie between West Virginia, Texas and Oklahoma State there will be a Champion crowned this weekend. We will have all the college baseball gambling insight and discussion you could ask for. Let’s get after it!

Big 12 Tournament Record: 0-3 (-3.0 units)
9:00am cst: Kansas State Wildcats (+155) vs. Texas Longhorns (-190)
In the first big upset the Longhorns were taken down by the Kansas Jayhawks. UT ace Lucas Gordon threw 5 innings with 5 strikeouts, 1 walk and 2 earned runs. It was when reliever Travis Sthele came in and gave up 4 earned runs in 4 innings pitch, which was the Jayhawks grand slam hit by Janson Reeder. Now the #1 Longhorns must defeat the Kansas State Wildcats to advance. TCU jumped all over K-State earlier and put them in too big of a hole to crawl out of. Not sure who will be starting for either team. It will be out on Twitter closer to game time I’m sure. If you are worried about the UT offense then K-State would be the place to look here but after that performance I would expect more from UT today. I like UT but for those that have not followed us for baseball (specifically) we do not recommend bets more expensive than -165.

12:30pm cst: West Virginia Mountaineers (-105) vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys (-125)
We were on WVU last night but they looked like a team that was dead in the water after being swept by UT. They had one of their best pitchers on the mound and got beat up by Texas Tech. OU got some revenge on OSU after jumping all over the Cowboys. OSU looked good in defeat. Much better than WVU. This is a cheap price in a Big 12 regular season champions elimination game. I’ll take the Cowboys with this price.
Pick: Oklahoma State (-125)
4:00pm cst: Kansas Jayhawks (+185) vs. TCU Horned Frogs (-230)
The Horned Frogs are huge favorites after destroying Kansas State yesterday. Can the Jayhawks pull off another big upset? Did TCU waste all of its offense? It appeared as if Kansas escaped with one against UT as the Jayhawk pitching was not sharp. It was more of the UT offense had a bad day. The price is nice but I’m not going with the Jayhawks for those reasons.

7:30pm cst: Oklahoma Sooners (+110) vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders (-140)
I really liked the way both of these teams played last night. Texas Tech won the series during the regular season (2-1). I would say this price on the Red Raiders is a fair one considering the way they have played all season. It would be nice to know who will be on the mound but I like Tech in this spot with OU coming off a huge rivalry win.
