  • 12:00PM CST: New York Jets -3.5 vs. Tennessee Titans; Total 41

The Jets didn’t look terrible against the 49ers but still managed to get their tails kicked. Tennessee looked dominant against the Bears until they melted down on special teams and offense with turnovers. The Bears didn’t have to score a touchdown on offense and they still won the game. Crazy. I’m not too sure I agree with the Jets laying more than a field goal on the road against a decent defense like the Titans. Can Will Levis be trusted though? We might get a 4 and I’m waiting for it.

Play: Titans +4 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 12:00 PM CST: New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders -1.5; Total 43.5

Do the Giants look terrible? Yes. Do the Commanders look like they have plenty of work to do? Yes. Something’s gotta give in this game. Washington has not won a football game since November 5th of last year. November! As bad as the Giants are, they still have the Commanders’ number. I think they can get the job done in this game. Washington has to prove they have turned a new leaf under this new regime.

Play: Giants +1.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 12:00 PM CST: Seattle Seahawks -3.5 vs. New England Patriots; Total 38

Both teams have started 1-0. I expect this game to be a grind-out game. The game total mirrors those opinions as well. Jacoby Brissett is a seasoned vet who does a great job NOT turning the ball over. If the Patriots get a good pass rush on Geno Smith, they can be successful and even win. The Seahawks will be without Kenneth Walker, who is a huge part of their offense. They have good backups, but it is still a huge hole to fill. I’ll take the points in what feels like an even matchup.

Play: Patriots +3.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 12:00 PM CST: Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars -3; Total 41.5

We will continue to fade the Browns with Deshaun Watson at quarterback, especially without LT Jedrick Wills Jr. and Nick Chubb. They also will not have TE David Njoku. This team is out of sorts. This is the perfect opportunity for the Jags to get back on track after blowing a game against the Dolphins. The Jags looked good, but turnovers killed them. I think they get back on track.

Play: Jaguars -3 (-120) [via DraftKings]

  • 3:00PM CST: Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals -1; Total 48

The Rams looked great on Sunday night but could not finish the job against the Lions. Officiating had a little play in that but we move on. Arizona started out hot offensively against the Bills but the Buffalo running game and Josh Allen beat them down. The Bills defense also eventually gave the Cardinals fits late. The Rams can do the same against AZ. Rams have the Cardinals’ number. I’m going back to the Rams even on the road. The Cardinals are another team that needs to prove the should be favorites.

Play: Rams +1 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 3:25PM CST: Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5 vs. Denver Broncos; Total 36.5

The Steelers had a hell of a time trying to score a touchdown against the Falcons but they are going up against a much weaker Broncos defense. The Seahawks dominated on the ground and that is what the Steelers are best at. I think they will ground ang pound their way to a win. Hopefully Boswell is still hot kicking the football too. Bo Nix and the offensive line will have their hands full with a healthy TJ Watt and the Steelers. This number is a bit too short. I can see this getting to three. Let’s grab it now.

Play: Steelers -2.5 (-122) [via DraftKings]
