  • 6:10PM CST: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers -4

The Cavaliers are undefeated and have covered every spread along the way. If you look a bit closer, the Cavs have not faced any team that’s not in the basement of the NBA. They defeated Toronto, Detroit, Washington, and the New York Knicks. The Lakers have faced and defeated much better teams like Sacramento, Phoenix, and Minnesota. Redick has this team running on all cylinders. I am taking this Lakers team that is, again, undervalued.

Play: Lakers +4 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:10PM CST: Detroit Pistons vs. Philadelphia 76ers -4

The Pistons are off to a hot start, tanking for Cooper Flagg. The 76ers are trying to figure out their roster without Embiid and Paul George. I don’t think this spread is correct. The 76ers are still trying to win games, and this is the perfect opponent to make that happen.

Play: 76ers -4 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:10PM CST: Toronto Raptors vs. Charlotte Hornets -6.5

It feels like everyone is on the Hornets tonight because of the Raptors’ injuries. I disagree with this type of move in the NBA. The line hasn’t moved either. The Raptors have a scrappy team that could give the Hornets some trouble. Charlotte might be looking ahead to playing the Boston Celtics. This is the type of ugly NBA game you have to play on a Wednesday night.

Play: Raptors +6.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 9:00PM CST: New Orleans Pelicans vs. Golden State Warriors -3.5

These two played last night, and the Warriors won in dominating fashion—not because of their three-point shooting, but because of their defense. The Warriors quietly have one of the best defenses so far in the NBA. They have active hands and make teams pay. No Steph Curry again tonight, but the Pelicans will be missing more key pieces like CJ McCollum and Herb Jones. I think with this defense, it will be too much for Zion and Ingram to handle on their own. This line just moved to 3.5. I still like the Warriors for the reasons above.

Play: Warriors -3.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 9:00PM CST: Portland Trailblazers vs. Los Angeles Clippers -8

The Pistons came to play tonight but I think tonight confirms how bad this 76ers team is with only playing with Tyrese Maxey. The other players are stiffs and they need Embiid and Paul George back. The Clippers will be playing with their full roster and looking for a nice home win with that great crowd. I think the Clippers can dominate this game like they have in the past. The Clippers need to lean on their defense and force this young Blazers team to turn the ball over.

Play: Clippers -8 (-108) [via DraftKings]
