Dirtbags MLB Tuesday

Yesterday’s DDSN Player of the Day is Spencer Strider who went 8 scoreless innings with 13 strikeouts and 0 walks.

Follow us on twitter after we get y’all some winners! This will help us grow as we continue to dominate MLB.

These prices are per Draft Kings, which are similar to FanDuel if those are available to you. Some use off shore accounts that have more juice than what is listed or are unavailable. If H+R+RBI is unavailable to you then I suggest you split a 1 unit bet 33% each or whatever % you’d like to 1 or 2 hits, 1 run & 1 RBI. You should get + money on 2/3 of those and that will help long term. Or find a way to pair them up in 2’s or 3’s (parlay). For baseball season, I personally bet 1 unit to win X and don’t lay more than -160. This is refers most to player props. Questions? Just ask!

Early Slate

  • 5:00pm cst: Colorado Rockies vs. Cleveland Guardians (-210)

Colorado took the victory in game 1 with a shutout win. Now the Guardians will start one of their young arms who is off to a great start in RHP Peyton Battenfield only allowing 1 run in each of his first two starts. I expect the Guardians offense to bounce back against the Rockies’ Ryan Feltner.

Pick: Guardians Team Total Over 4.5 (-115)

Steven Kwan H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-120)

  • 5:30pm cst: Boston Red Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles (-165)

These two battle again for the opportunity to lead the American League East, which is one of the best divisions in MLB. Cory Kluber has been unsurprisingly bad to begin the season and I expect Baltimore to push some runs across the board easily today. The Red Sox who has been humming lately also has good number against Kyle Braddish. I’m going for runs, runs, runs here.

Pick: Over 9 (+100)

  • 5:30pm cst: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (-110)

Don’t look now but these Buccos are in 1st place and have a better record than the Dodgers early in this season. The Pirates’ Johan Oviedo has been on fire. We aren’t getting a + money price with the Pirates but I like them in this matchup with the thinking Oviedo will outpitch Syndergaard. One of the Dodgers’ top prospects will be making his debut in Michael Busch at DH. I like a little plus money to back the rookie until Max Muncy gets back from paternity leave.

Pick: Pirates (-110)

Michael Busch H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (+120)

  • 5:30pm cst: Houston Astros vs. Tampa Bay Rays (-180)

As good as the Astros’ roster is on paper the Tampa Bay Rays have been dominant this season and destroyed the Astros last night. Not only does Tampa have great pitching per usual but its the offense that has been out of this world. Luis Garcia has not been the same since being unable to use his shimmy while pitching on the mound due to the new rules so fading him is what we will do for now.

Pick: Rays -1.5 (+120)

  • 5:30pm cst: Texas Rangers (-130) vs. Cincinnati Reds

I know the Rangers choked the win last night but the fact that Martin Perez is only -130 is absurd. The Reds love to face left handed pitching so that is the only reason this price makes sense.

Pick: Rangers (-130)

  • 5:30pm cst: Seattle Mariners vs. Philadelphia Phillies (-125)

Both of these teams will be starting LHP and are also successful at facing LHP as well. No real feel on a side so we will look towards the props to cash in on this one.

Pick: Julio Rodriguez H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-135)

Teoscar Hernandez H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-135)

Nick Castellanos H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-125)

Brandon Marsh H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (+130)

Evening Slate

  • 6:00pm cst: Chicago White Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays (-200)

The White Sox are ice cold to begin this season. If Dylan Cease is not on the mound then the White Sox are usually in trouble. I feel like today is a great opportunity for the White Sox to get some runs and a possible victory over Jose Berrios and the Jays. Chicago has great numbers to lean on here. Going with the CWS monyeline here rather than multiple player props.

Pick: White Sox (+180)

Over 9 (-115)

  • 6:00pm cst: Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets (-200)

The Mets are starting to heat up especially on the offensive side of the ball. Josiah Gray will be on the mound for the Nats and unfortunately for him the Mets love to face off against him. All things points towards New York tonight.

Pick: Mets Team Total Over 4.5 (-125)

Pete Alonso H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-145)

  • 6:00pm cst: Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves (-230)

In Miami’s Hoening’s first start he was destroyed in the first 3 inning by the Dodgers. Will his second career start have a similar fate? Too much juice on the Braves and its players. With Luis Arraez out of the lineup today there is not a like in this one.

Pick: Jazz Chisolm H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (+115)

  • 6:30pm cst: New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins (-125)

We have a great matchup again tonight with Nasty Nestor Cortes going up against Joe Ryan for the Twins. Just like last night this is just a great matchup for the Twins batters. I’m going back to the Twins. I would prefer Byron Buxton starting but I would buy on Jose Miranda props.

Pick: Twins (-125)

  • 6:30pm cst: Detroit Tigers vs. Milwaukee Brewers (-175)

Tigers scored the upset win last night and are trying to crawl from the bottom of the standings. Tigers can hit left handed pitcher and the Brewers are due to bounce back on the Tigers. There is not a ton I like in this game other than the fact there will be some scoring.

Pick: Over 8.5 (-110)

  • 6:30pm cst: San Diego Padres vs. Chicago Cubs (-110)

We have a lefty v. lefty matchup here and we already know the Cubs love to face LHP. At this short of a number the Cubs are a no doubter here for us.

Pick: Cubs (-110)

Seiya Suzuki H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (+115)

Nico Hoerner H+R+RBI Over 1.5 (-125)

Patrick Wisdom Hits Over 0.5 (+105)

Night Slate

  • 8:30pm cst: Oakland Athletics vs. Los Angeles Angeles (-170)

This was one of the more entertaining games last night with the Athletics scoring the upset win in extra innings. Mason Miller will be facing Grant Canning tonight. Miller came out blazing throwing some real high heat for Oakland. The Angels have injuries and well a lackluster offense. Only care to go one way here. I would even take Miller’s K’s higher

Pick: Mason Miller Strikeouts Over 4.5 (-150)

  • 8:30pm cst: Kansas City Royals vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (-145)

Brady Singer takes the mound for KC after a couple rough outings against good offenses like Texas and Atlanta. Ryne Nelson gets the start for Arizona. There is not a lot I like in this game due to interleague game with two young teams.

Pick: Brady Singer Strikeouts Over 4.5 (-105)

  • 8:30pm cst: St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants (-115)

The Giants will be starting a reliever in John Brebbia who will probably only pitch 1 inning and hasn’t started a game yet this season. With the Cardinals starting Jake Woodford on the other side I do not trust them here. I’ll take a short price with the Giants against a St. Louis team who is struggling right now.

Pick: Giants (-115)
