College Baseball: #8 Stanford and #9 Miami Regionals: Day 2
We have made it to the NCAA Tournament where we will be previewing all of the NCAA Regionals giving as much information as possible. The articles will paired with the regionals that would match up in Supers. We will have wagers throughout the weekend and futures plays for the World Series and Regional winners if they post them. Our wagers are betting 1 unit to win x and for baseball we do not go lower than -165. This is a steep price but there are opportunities where the number should be -200 so this is why that is our limit. Check out our home page where all the regional handicaps will be daily.
NCAA Tournament Record (-4.14 units)
Stanford Regional
2:00pm cst: #4 San Jose State Aztecs (+135) vs. #3 Cal State Fullerton Titans (-165)
Cal State Fullerton for a lack of a better term was embarrassed last night. I think the Titans bounce back after that performance. SJSU had some positive signs against Stanford but Fullerton is the better team and that is where I must go.
Pick: Cal State Fullerton (-165)
9:00pm cst: #2 Texas A&M Aggies (+100) vs. #1 Stanford Cardinal (-130)
Will the this Texas A&M team finally take a step back? It feels like a perfect spot to take a very short number with Stanford. I would have liked more + money with the Aggies so I will side with Stanford here.
Pick: Stanford (-130)
Miami Regional
11:00am cst: #4 Main Black Bears (+275) vs. #3 Louisiana Rajun Cajuns (-355)
We passed on this game. It is also in a rain delay. No harm here.
Pick: None
5:00pm cst: #2 Texas Longhorns (+110) vs. #1 Miami Hurricanes (-140)
Texas was led by ace Lucas Gordon and red hot Dylan Campbell who just set the Big 12 record for active hitting streak. Miami has a great team and Texas’ issues are at the plate. This is an old rivalry game so it will be one I will be enjoying bringing back some memories. I’ll take the Longhorns here.
Pick: Texas (+110)
College World Series Futures (0-0):
X
We will be choosing a College World Series winner out of these groupings so a total of 8. This will be monitored throughout the weekend and updated.
It’s either going to be Texas or Miami here. Both have shorter numbers. We just missed the cutoff so we will be back tomorrow with a play for this side of the bracket.
