Super Regionals Record: (-6.75 units)

We were having a decent Regionals run until Sunday where the afternoon went to shit. We may have been a tad too aggressive but it was just one of those days. Every favorite we had lost outright and every dog we had got smashed. Couldn’t buy one Sunday afternoon. Now, it’s Super Regionals time to make up some ground. We have plenty riding on our futures, we added Super Regional plays and the daily matchups. There will be plays on a side and total for each game.

  • 11:00AM CST: Georgia Bulldogs (-140) vs. NC State Wolfpack (+110); Total 15.5

NC State put a hurting on the Bulldogs yesterday in Athens. Will we have a situation like where the Bulldogs take it personal and fight back with some pride? I think we see a little more from UGA today. NC State is a great team but we have to go the other way after a blowout like that. Having to make up some ground today, I will be playing doubles.

  • 1:30PM CST: Clemson Tigers (-150) vs. Florida Gators (+120); Total 12.5

Clemson was in great shape last night until a Jac Caglianone home run changed the whole game. This Florida team is red hot right now but I do think Clemson gets one back at home today. Having to make up some ground today, I will be playing doubles.

  • 5:00PM CST: Evansville Purple Aces (+390) vs. Tennessee Volunteers (-600); Total 16

We are hedged up all over the place with the Volunteers and Evansville to win the National Championship. We know this series is closer than what the oddsmakers are pricing it. Tennessee’s bullpen and staff has been used heavily and the same with Evansville. This is basically going to be whichever team can survive. Evansville has no fear and I do not see their bats just giving up. Tennessee has not responded well the past couple years to pressure. Tons of pressure rests on the Vols shoulders today. I truly think this game is a toss up. I’m taking the runs and the Purple Aces on the ML. I just hate Tennessee in pressure situations. They do not show up. We’ll see how it plays out today.

  • 6:30PM CST: Texas A&M Aggies (-280) vs. Oregon Ducks (+210); Total 12.5

Oregon could not have gotten off to a better start against A&M yesterday. Like many teams, they let self inflicted wounds decide the game. I think Oregon will bounce back and get the win they should’ve had yesterday. It won’t be easy but it’s also worth the risk at this price. The Ducks need to fix the walks and errors that cost them game 1.

  • 8:00PM CST: Kentucky Wildcats (-160) vs. Oregon State Beavers (+124); Total 12.5

I will go ahead and say it, the Kentucky Wildcats are so impressive. I was big on Kentucky the past two years and they have always disappointed me. Now, they have yet to lose a game. I think it took 7 innings for Oregon State to get a hit yesterday. I was beyond disappointed with Oregon State. I still feel the Beavers can steal a game. I’m going back to the well but it won’t be easy against the Wildcats in Lexington.

Super Regional Winners:

  • Athens Regional: Georgia Bulldogs (-150) - We have the Dawgs to win it all. NC State is a great team but I give UGA the edge playing at home.

  • Bryan-College Station Regional: Oregon Ducks (+300) - Oregon just went through a California gauntlet. I don’t think they will be phased by the College Station crowd. The Ducks have elite pitching that matches up with the Aggies. At +300 I cannot pass on this Ducks team that is hitting their stride at the right time.

  • Charlottesville Regional: Kansas State Wildcats (+220) - Yes, the Cavaliers are humming right now. I still think they had one of the easier Regionals. Kansas State played some tough teams and their offense is on fire right now. I am taking the underdog price.

  • Clemson Regional: Clemson Tigers (-160) - Clemson might finally be able to put together a Super Regional win and make it back to Omaha. Florida is as hot as anybody after winning in Stillwater but can they keep it up? I like how Clemson handled themselves at home.

  • Lexington Regional: Oregon State Beavers (+100) - I am still not a believer in Kentucky. They sure did prove me wrong last weekend but now they will be stepping up in competition. The Beavers made quick work of their Regional. Both offenses are hot so I will take the dog price.
