College Baseball Conference Tournaments: Day 3

Conference Tournament Record: 10-13 (-3.44 units)
9:00AM CST: TCU Horned Frogs (-166) vs. Kansas State Wildcats (+130);
This sounds pretty obvious but whichever offense shows up today will win the game. Again, this is close to an even matchup and I am siding with K-State. This might be a win and in game for the NCAA Tournament as well. I’ll take the hot offense with EMAW Nation.

9:00AM CST: Arkansas Razorbacks (-175) vs. Kentucky Wildcats (+135);
Kentucky got their teeth kicked in by LSU after being a strong team all season. Arkansas loss to South Caroline late in the ninth inning. The Razorbacks are having some issues at the plate and that might continue to carry over. I can’t bet on this until I know who is on the mound for the Razorbacks. Hagen Smith is on the mound so I will lay the runs with the Razorbacks.

12:30PM CST: Kansas Jayhawks (+130) vs. Oklahoma Sooners (-166); Total 13
Oklahoma seems to be the class of the Big 12 but the Jayhawks are underrated. The Kansas pitching staff has been great all season. I am hoping for another pitching duel. I’m taking this game under.

1:00PM CST: Texas A&M Aggies (+120) vs. Tennessee Volunteers (-150); Total 11.5
I prefer Stamos on the mound for Tennessee who has been strong all season. The price is steep but Tennessee was embarrassed last night by their rival Vandy. I think they bounce back in a big way and it starts with their pitching.

4:00PM CST: Cincinnati Bearcats (+135) vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders (-175); Total 14
It’s a perfect time to back the cardiac Cats! The Red Raiders offense has been hit and miss through two games. Cincinnati has been battling and finding ways to win. I am taking the underdog price with Cinci in a game they can win.

4:30PM CST: LSU Tigers (-160) vs. South Carolina Gamecocks (+124); Total 14
Both of these teams are red hot. The difference is, South Carolina is being carried by only one player and that is Cole Messina. Will the rest of the team be able to help out Messina to take down the Tigers? Hard to ignore how hot LSU is right now. They want to win this tournament to guarantee not only an NCAA birth but a good seed.

6:00PM CST: Duke Blue Devils (-115) vs. NC State Wolfpack (-115); Total 14.5
Duke struggled against NC State this season so did today’s starter Andrew Healy. I think this NC State team is red hot and I don’t think they intent on slowing down anytime soon.

OSU won their first game at Globe Life Field last night and their best pitcher carried them. UCF is a live dog that I am happy to take a shot with because of their offense.

This is an even matchup and should be a great game. Both teams are hot right now. We have been riding with the Vandy Boys and I’m heading that way again.
