College Basketball Season Record: 189-180-12 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

  • 5:30pm cst: Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes -4; Total 144

I know Ohio State has won 2 of its last 3 games since the coaching change but now they are favored by four points against Nebraska? Interesting line. I can only think of the possible injuries the Cornhuskers may have because right now they have four players listed as questionable. Two of those players have undisclosed statuses. This reminds me of last nights spread that had Maryland favored by five points at home against Northwestern and the Terps got rolled.

  • 6:00pm cst: Memphis Tigers -4.5 vs. ECU Pirates; Total 143

Memphis is doing everything they can to try and fight their way back into the Tournament conversation. The Tigers have two huge games against UAB and FAU to close the season. That might just be enough to throw them off their game tonight. Memphis has struggled covering on the road and ECU has been tough at home. I like ECU to make this game nasty for Memphis.

Pick: ECU +4.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:30pm cst: Stanford Cardinal vs. Utah Utes -8; Total 155.5

Stanford will be without one of their best players Spencer Jones. The Cardinal are also ice cold. Utah has a shot at making the tournament so I think we get their best game tonight. They can rebound, play defense and shoot the three. I’ll lay it with the Utes hoping they have a big game against a down Stanford side.

Pick: Utah -8 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 9:30pm cst: USC Trojans vs. Washington State Cougars -8; Total 138

Washington State is on a tear right now but the Trojans still present a tough test for them. Every game is important for Wazzu trying to punch their ticket. The Trojans have been playing better although it’s too little too late for them unless they win the Pac-12 tournament (crazier things have happened). I think this is too many points. Let’s just hope they make their free throws and not cost us like they did against Colorado.

Pick: USC +8 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 9:30pm cst: UCLA Bruins vs. Washington Huskies -3.5; Total 140

Another spread that is leaning a bit too far in the direction of the Huskies. UCLA matches up well with the Huskies and have given them problems in the past. I think this is a game UCLA can win if they do not fall in love with the three and don’t turn the ball over. It’s a tough ask but they can do it.

  • 10:00pm cst: Gonzaga Bulldogs -3.5 vs. San Francisco Dons; Total 154.5

This is the type of spread that looks too good to be true. It looks like a $100 bill tangling at the end of a fishing line just waiting to catch something. The Dons have the talent to pull off the upset at home, something they have not done in the last ten games is defeat the Zags. I’ll take a shot here with the Dons but we may be playing too close to fire.
