College Basketball Season Record: 186-177-12 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X
6:00pm cst: Auburn Tigers vs. Tennessee Volunteers -7.5; Total 151.5
This should be a blood bath. Auburn has the historical advantage over Tennessee and matchup well with them. The Vols may struggle with the Auburn guards. This spread is giving the Vols a ton of respect. I make this number closer to 4. I don’t see a blowout in this game. There is still a good chance the best SEC school gets a #1 seed. Plenty to play for here.
Pick: Auburn +7.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]
6:00pm cst: Providence Friars vs. Marquette Golden Eagles -11.5; Total 150.5
Both of these teams always play each other tight. Marquette is great at home so I understand why there is a double digit spread here but it might be too many. The Golden Eagles have a road date with Creighton this weekend and they could be looking passed the Friars. I’ll take the double digits with a tough Providence team.
Pick: Providence +11.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]
7:30pm cst: South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Texas A&M Aggies -5.5; Total 134.5
The last time these two met a year ago, Texas A&M destroyed the Gamecocks by 51 points. I don’t think that is something they forgot about. The Aggies are desperate for a win. SC also won in Aggieland last season. I’ll take the points in a game of desperation. We should see both teams’ best tonight.
Pick: South Carolina +5.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]
7:30pm cst: St. John’s Red Storm vs. Butler Bulldogs pick; Total 151.5
Rick Pitino may have shamed his Red Storm team into playing some real basketball. They are trying to put some momentum together before we step into March. Butler started hot but is now reeling. The Johnnies have a great chance to take advantage of a beaten team. The team that brings the most effort will win the game.
Pick: St. John’s pick (-112) [via DraftKings]
8:00pm cst: Seton Hall Pirates vs. Creighton Blue Jays -9; Total 144
I know Seton Hall did not forget about the way this game ended earlier this season. It was a game the should have won except they got a bad whistle in my opinion. Creighton is as good as any team in the country on its home floor. With Marquette on deck, I think this may be too many points.
Pick: Seton Hall +9 (-105) [via DraftKings]
8:00pm cst: Alabama Crimson Tide -5 vs. Ole Miss Rebels; Total 166.5
This is the Ole Miss Rebels last stand. Their final chance to revive their NCAA hopes aside from winning the SEC Tournament (anything can happen I guess). They will have to shoot 55-60% from three and play a perfect game. I just don’t see it tonight. The +5 is begging for Reb’ money. I see this game playing out like Auburn at Ole Miss. The Crimson Tide will just have too much fire power. Also, Bama was just embarrassed by Kentucky on Saturday. They should come out pissed tonight.
Pick: Alabama -5 (-1120 [via DraftKings]
