College Basketball Season Record: 101-87-9 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

  • 6:00pm cst: Michigan Wolverines vs. Maryland Terrapins -6.5; Total 140.5

Michigan Wolverines best player Dug McDaniel will be OUT as he is facing a six game road suspension for internal issues. I do not want to lay more than six points with Maryland even with them being at home. Yes, they can run it up on Michigan here but it is still asking a lot with this Terrapins offense. There are some situations when a key player is out and the rest of the team rallies behind them. We may have that here even in a road game. Too many points. I’m taking Michigan.

  • 8:00pm cst: Michigan State Spartans vs. Illinois Fighting Illini -3.5; Total 150

The Spartans are coming off a shellacking from Northwestern and Illinois a tough loss to Purdue. It feels like Illinois has not lost a step after Terrance Shannon Jr. was suspended for his legal problems. One thing that has jumped out at me the last few games these two have played: MSU struggles with the size of Illinois. The Illinois defense also plays pretty tough especially at home. In my opinion, this is a pretty short number. I can only look at Illinois in this one.

  • 10:00pm cst: Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Washington Huskies -7; Total 151

Here is another game where the home team is laying a dangerous amount of points. The Huskies have a good home court advantage but this ASU team has turned a corner since their fortunate win against SMU. I like Arizona State’s defense getting seven.
