Big 12 College Baseball Tournament: Day 3

2023 Big 12 Tournament at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas

The 1st round of the Big 12 Tournament will be kicking off today at Globe Life Field. After the Big 12 regular season finished in a three way tie between West Virginia, Texas and Oklahoma State there will be a Champion crowned this weekend. We will have all the college baseball gambling insight and discussion you could ask for. Let’s get after it!

Big 12 Tournament Record: 2-3 (-1.48 units)

• 3:00pm cst: Kansas Jayhawks (+145) vs. Kansas State Wildcats (-180)

Today we have the Sunflower Showdown in Arlington, Texas. The Jayhawks were swept during the regular season at home against Kansas State. KU lost 4 to 5, 1 to 6 and 18 to 21. The Jayhawks have been competitive in these matchups. Kansas just got waxed by TCU and K-State earned a very solid win against UT. This is a rivalry game and the price on K-State is just too high. This is not a terrible spot to take a flyer on Kansas. It would be KU or pass.

Pick: Kansas (+145)

• 6:30pm cst: Oklahoma Sooners (+130) vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys (-160)

Other than a a bottom of the 9th two out rally from Texas Tech the Oklahoma Sooners have looked great in this tournament. In Game 1 OU jumped out immediately on OSU and the Cowpokes could not dig themselves out of that hole. Last weekend Oklahoma State won 2/3 against the Sooners and at this price is about a 10 cent discount from Game 1. I expect a revenge game for the Cowboys here and I’m playing OSU.
