  • 11:00am cst: Colorado Buffaloes vs. TCU Horned Frogs -21; Total 63.5

The much anticipated FBS debut for Coach Prime and his Colorado squad against the TCU who was in the National Championship last night. Colorado will more than likely be outsized so they will need to lean on their speed and athleticism. TCU lost plenty last season and return 10 players from last years team but I am not sure if that will be enough. Too many points here. I’m taking Colorado at 21 points. I would not play 20.5. I rather be safe with three touchdowns.

Pick: Colorado +21 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 11:00am cst: Fresno State Bulldogs vs. Purdue Boilermakers -3.5; Total 47

In this game I am much higher on Hudson Card teaming up with Graham Harrell than the sports books based on this price. Fresno State has a good coaching staff but they lost a lot of players after last season on both sides of the ball. They will also be looking for a new quarterback as well. This number is a bit short so I am laying the points with Purdue in this game.

Pick: Purdue -3.5 (-110) [via BetOnline]

  • 2:30pm cst: Boise State Broncos vs. Washington Huskies -14; Total 58.5

The Huskies are coming into this season with plenty of hype behind QB Michael Pennix Jr. This Washington team also played extremely well at home not losing one game at home. The defense also plays at a different level at home. Boise is another team that lost a lot last season and will also have QB questions as well. I’m laying double digits here but this Washington team should be focused looking to capitalize on the way they finished last season with Pac 12 and CFP on their mind.

Pick: Washington -14 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:00pm cst: Washington State Cougars vs. Colorado State Rams +10; Total 54.5

Time for a double digit dog. This Colorado State team brings back plenty of talent on both sides of the ball including its quarterback. They should be a strong team in the trenches with what they have returning. Washington State is the opposite. They lost a lot from their offensive and defensive line from last year. I’m plugging my nose and taking the home dog. There are some 10.5 and 11’s out there in Vegas sportsbooks.

Pick: Colorado State +10 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:00pm cst: UTSA Roadrunners -2 vs. Houston Cougars; Total 60

This UTSA team returns a ton of talent. They also have some of the best skill position players in the country. A strong defense and an offensive line they was forced to mature last season due to injuries. Houston does not have the type of talent this season that UTSA does. In my opinion Houston does not have much of a home field advantage and there will be plenty of UTSA fans in the crowd. Lay the points or pay a bit on the moneyline.

Pick: UTSA -2 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:30pm cst: North Carolina Tar Heels -2.5 vs. South Carolina Gamecocks; Total 63.5

Neutral field game tonight. South Carolina lost a lot especially on the offensive line. I don’t see them being as strong as they were last season. A lot of pressure will be on Spencer Rattler but it will be tough behind that offensive line. Tar Heels will have Drake Maye at QB but will be without WR Tez Walker in the first game. I’ll take the better quarterback with more returning talent up front.

Pick: North Carolina -2.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:30pm cst: Texas Tech Red Raiders -14 vs. Wyoming Cowboys; Total 50

A possible look ahead spot for the Red Raiders with Oregon on deck next weekend in Lubbock? A night game in Laramie with the Cowboys getting double digits? Yes, Please, This Wyoming team took its licks last season as they were a very young team. They will definitely be up for this game and I’ll gladly take the two touchdowns.

Pick: Wyoming +14 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00pm cst: South Alabama Jaguars vs. Tulane Green Wave -6.5; Total 52

South Alabama has a ton of talent coming back this season. They are stacked at almost every position. The Tulane Green Wave brings back plenty of talent but they also lost some. This game should be much tighter than a touchdown and South Alabama has a good of a chance to win game as Tulane. Upset special? I’m taking the points.

Pick: South Alabama +6.5 (-110) [via BetOnline]
