  • 6:00pm cst: Central Michigan Chippewas vs. Michigan State Spartans -14; Total 45

This is a huge game for Michigan State because it may be one of the few that they win this season. Central Michigan is going to want to get there running game going especially from the QB position. Michigan State has an unknown at QB to start the season because the two that were fighting for the job have only thrown for 21 college passes combined. This number keep moving towards the Chips from 14.5. I like the talent that MSU bring back on defense and they will be leaning on their offensive line and running game this season. I think there will be a lot of running plays tonight in a grind out game so I like the under in this one. I cannot lay double digits with MSU not knowing the QB position and the odds most likely it being poor. I think this experienced Chips defense and running game can keep this one close.

Pick: CMU +14 (-110) & Under 45 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:00pm cst: Louisville Cardinals -8 vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets; Total 49.5

This should be an interesting game with Jeff Brohm back at Louisville against new GT head coach Brent Key after taking over last season in the interim role. As the interim coach, Key got this Yellow Jackets team playing close games and not losing many by more than 7 points either. Louisville will have QB Jack Plummer who I feel is a strong starter and would rate him higher than Haynes King, transfer from Texas A&M. I would not lay more than a touchdown on the road in a conference game especially not knowing how either of these teams are going to look. I do feel like GT can keep this game close with a decent QB in a Mercedes Benz Stadium home game for the head coach.

Pick: Georgia Tech +8 (-110) [via Caesars]

  • 10:00pm cst: Stanford Cardinal -3 vs. Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors; Total 55

I gave this one out last night after Thursday’s games on X and earlier today on TikTok (follow us). Stanford will have a new coach trying to rebuild almost a whole roster. We will be seeing a lot of new with this Stanford team tonight. Plenty of unknowns. What we do know is Timmy Chang has his Rainbow Warriors running his high powered spread option and looking good doing it. QB Schager can sling the ball but cannot have turnovers especially bad one. That cost them the game against Vandy last week. They have some nice weapons on the outside and the defense had a solid game. Not perfect but I like what their front does trying to get after the QB. Not to mention they will be playing at home with a very proud crowd behind them. I feel this Hawai’i team has a ton of potential and this is the upset win they need to kick start them.

Pick: Hawai’i +3 (-110) [via DraftKings]
