Our DDSN Members Club sneak peek last night was a success! When the only loss is a 3/1 moneyline bet that comes down to the last play of the game, it was definitely worth a shot. North Dakota State had a chance to win, but their defense just couldn’t make a couple of stops when they needed to. Coastal Carolina destroyed Jax State, which was something we expected, but they looked much better than anticipated. We pushed the UNC game, which could have gone either way. There were missed field goals and an injury to the Tar Heels’ starting QB. Our Members Club is still up over 7 units, and we move on to tonight!

  • 6:00PM CST: Florida Atlantic Owls vs. Michigan State Spartans -13; Total 44.5

Michigan State had a down season last year, but now they look to turn things around with their new head coach from Oregon State, Jonathan Smith. If he could turn Oregon State around in a short amount of time, I think he will do just fine in East Lansing. I am not high on FAU whatsoever. They lost their quarterbacks, running back, wide receivers, and offensive line! The Owls will have an entirely new offense. That could be a good thing, but the experience will definitely be lacking. The defense should have a bit more cohesion, but that offense scares me in a bad way. Michigan State will at least be returning talent and bringing in some new players as well. This line has been moving towards the Owls, but I’m not buying it! I am expecting a big debut for Smith and his Spartans.

  • 9:30PM CST: TCU Horned Frogs -8.5 vs. Stanford Cardinal; Total 59.5

This should be an interesting late-night game: Big 12 vs. ACC. We are not too sure how good or bad this TCU team is right now. It was obviously a down year after making the National Championship the year before. They have most of their players returning except Emoni Bailey and their offensive line, so there is no telling how this offense will look. The TCU defense returns a bit more and could cause Stanford some problems. The Cardinal will be bringing everyone back on the offensive side of the ball, especially in the trenches. The same goes for the defense, but they still have plenty to improve on from last year. I give TCU the edge on defense and Stanford the edge on offense. This game feels closer to even based on talent, but there are so many unknowns with both teams. I’d rather have more than a TD and Stanford at home. TCU is getting too much respect in my opinion. Give me the points.

*In Week 0 every line except for Delaware State moved against us so I am not concerned at line movement at his point. I’m confident in our handicaps and positions.
