11:00am cst: Kentucky Wildcats vs. Clemson Tigers -3.5; Total 43.5
I gave this one out early on X. I like Kentucky’s defense and running game. I did not know if Devin Leary was playing in this game and he is indeed starting. That is a good sign for Kentucky. Both of these teams have shown two different sides all season. They have looked awful but there have been times they have looked great. Which one will it be today? I like Kentucky’s defense and that is why I rather take more than a FG than lay it with a Clemson team that is very hard to trust.

1:00pm cst: Oregon State Beavers vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish -5; Total 40
The Beavers are dealing with a lot of issues. Most of it starts with the head coach Jonathan Smith leaving for Michigan State, a good amount of players are in the portal and their star running back was arrested not too long ago. Now, their third string QB will be taking over who ended the 2022 season on a 7-1 run but much has changed since then. Notre Dame will be starting a freshman at QB with very little experience. The Irish also have a good amount of opt outs so it is hard to gauge this one. I do not like the way Oregon State ended their season. I am going to back Notre Dame here mainly because of the reasons from the first couple of sentences: too much has been going on with Oregon State. The Irish should also have a strong contingent in El Paso at the legendary Sun Bowl.

2:30pm cst: Memphis Tigers vs. Iowa State Cyclones -10.5; Total 58.5
Iowa State is a young and very hungry team that had a strong Big 12 season. Now they are laying 10.5 against a veteran Memphis squad? I like Becht at QB for Iowa State but this is a lot of points to lay against a pretty good Memphis squad. Memphis has only loss two games in their last 10 against SMU and Tulane who were really good at the time they played each other. I am taking the points here.

7:00pm cst: Missouri Tigers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes -5.5; Total 50
Here is another spread I do not understand. Ohio State lost so many players to the transfer portal including their starting QB. They will be starting a QB with no experience against a very experienced Missouri team. This number got all the way down to 3 and now has shot up to 5.5 because I am assuming Marvin Harrison Jr. will play? With an unexperienced QB the line move makes zero sense. this is Missouri’s Super Bowl and it’s close to home (kinda). I love Mizzou in this game. They are very underrated and I expect them to flex their muscles against a not so great Ohio State team. Quite frankly, Missouri is going to kick Ohio State’s ass. Big. (Mizzou is almost 2/1 on the ML)
