  • 6:00PM CST: Georgia State Panthers vs. UConn Huskies -7.5

Georgia State dominated UConn last season, but this is a bit of a different team than last year. The Panthers are not as strong as they were last season. UConn, on the other hand, has vastly improved. Georgia State has been able to keep a couple of games close around a touchdown. UConn hasn’t blown anyone out in a while either. Both of these teams rate around the same offensively, but UConn is the much better defensive team. Georgia State rates close to the bottom of defenses in the country. This is where UConn takes advantage and thrives. I’m laying the wood here. I rather trust the Huskies in this spot than the Georgia State defense.

Play: UConn -7.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00PM CST: San Diego State Aztecs vs. Boise State Broncos -24

San Diego State had to do a lot of rebuilding after legendary Aztec head coach Brady Hoke retired. They started off slow this season but have since been a covering machine. They will be up against it tonight facing the Ashton Jeanty-led Broncos. They just need to stop the run. Boise is coming off a huge game against UNLV, but there is still work left to be done. We could get burned here, but I do not want to lay this number with Boise even though they are at home. I think the Aztecs can catch them off guard defensively and keep this one close.

Play: San Diego State +24 (-108) [via DraftKings]
