6:30PM CST: Sam Houston Bearkats -6 vs. Florida International Panthers
It sounds like the Sam Houston QB is banged up, and so is their star wide receiver. Both teams are coming off bad losses. FIU is at home and will have the Miami Vice vibes going with their uniforms and a yacht on the sideline. I think FIU has found something with their offense after watching them. FIU lost their QB against UTEP, but he will be playing today. The Panthers also beat Sam Houston last year. With these games, there is always a dog that comes out. Tonight, I think it’s going to be FIU in a shootout. These teams are similar to last year but both have improved. If you wait a 6.5 might show but it’s doubtful.

7:00PM CST: UTEP Miners vs. Louisiana Tech Bulldogs -6.5
The Miners got their first win of the season against FIU last week. Not everything is as it appears, though. UTEP, for some reason, has FIU’s number. The Panthers also lost their starting QB in the game, which didn’t help. Louisiana Tech played terribly against New Mexico State on the road. The Miners don’t have the same defense. The Bulldogs are also back in Ruston, where they play much better. I expect this offense to get their feet back under them in this game.
