7:25PM CSt: Houston Texans vs. New York Jets -2
If you did not learn your lesson last Thursday night, you have the opportunity to tonight. Last TNF, the Vikings were getting all kinds of ticket action, but the line wasn’t budging off Vikings -3.5. We are seeing the same thing happen tonight. Everyone is on the Texans, and the line isn’t moving. Bad sign for Houston bettors. Yes, the Jets have been awful, but if you look a little closer, you will find that they haven’t been that bad. Just the kicker. Greg Zuerlein is now on the IR, and things are starting to look up for the Jets. The Texans have been on a brutal schedule run after playing at Green Bay (losing), hosting division rival Indianapolis that went down to the wire, and now on the road at New York. The Jets are waiting to break through.
Houston should be able to terrorize Aaron Rogers with their pass rush. The Texans' problems will be on the offensive side of the football due to their lack of weapons on the outside. The Jets have some injuries in the secondary that could hurt them. This game will come down to which defense makes stops. The Colts defense played the Texans tough but couldn’t make anything happen offensively. The Jets may have the upper hand offensively in this game if the o-line can protect Aaron Rogers. It’s Aaron Rogers and the Jets’ last stand to try and salvage their season.
