WNBA Record: (+1.41 Units) — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

Those of you who have been following us during the Women’s College Basketball season know that we closely follow women’s hoops. This will now translate to the WNBA season and the anticipated debut week of Caitlin Clark. This has created a massive wave of new support and fandom for the WNBA product that has been dormant. I will have more details on these handicaps as the season progresses, but for now, I just have the plays posted. We are diving in headfirst as we always do. Good luck to the WNBA and all the new fans hoping to revive this league.

  • 12:00PM CT: Indiana Fever vs. New York Liberty -13.5; Total 169

The New York Liberty are probably the second best team in the WNBA mostly due to all of their firepower. The Indiana Fever have Caitlin Clark but there just isn’t much talent on this roster. The Liberty walked into Indiana and spoiled the Fever’s home debut. I expect more of the same from the Liberty because the Fever just cannot keep up offensively. It will take some time for Caitlin Clark to adjust to the WNBA. It’s been physical with better defenses than she is used to facing. I like the Liberty to have another big game.

Play: Liberty -13.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

Play: UNDER 169 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:00PM CT: LA Sparks vs. Las Vegas Aces -18.5; Total 168.5

I was very impressed with the Sparks in their first game of the season going toe-to-toe with the Atlanta Dream. The Aces were up and down against the Mercury in their first game of the season. The Aces are obviously capable of blowing out any of its opponents but the way they failed to pull away from the Mercury was worrying. Like I said, The Sparks may be a little better than I thought. Too many points so I’m backing the Sparks.

Play: Sparks +18.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00PM CT: Chicago Sky vs. Dallas Wings -5; Total 166.5

This was a great game a couple days ago where the Wings went red hot to end the game taking home the victory. The Sky were not as sharp as they could be offensively. It took a half for Angel Reese to get comfortable. I think this will be another close game. Chicago needs to play more like a team this time around.

Play: Sky +5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 9:00PM CT: Atlanta Dream -2 vs. Phoenix Mercury; Total 170.5

Atlanta is a very good team. Phoenix had a strong showing against the defending champion Aces but still fell short. Diana Taurasi did everything she could by carrying the team with her 7 three pointers. Atlanta is a more well rounded team and I like them to win another road game with a short number.

Play: Dream -2 (-112) [via DraftKings]
