One of the most popular and looked forward to events of the season is here. For some, it is the real start to the golf season, especially with it also being the culmination of the NFL football season. It is the Waste Management Phoenix Open from TPC Scottsdale in Arizona. Time for some desert golf after our California start to the season. Who other than Scottie Scheffler to be the betting favorite, as he has dominated this course since his debut on Tour. Will he take it down again? Let’s get into it!

We bounced back after our first losing golf tournament of the season with a small win at Pebble Beach. Finally, a tournament that is playing only one course and without a Pro-Am setup. Our Canadians, Taylor Pendrith and Nick Taylor, couldn’t make a run in the final two rounds, and Rory won running away. Of course, we all know Scottie is the overwhelming favorite this weekend, but I will not be giving him out as an outright at (+275). We aren’t chalk eaters. If he was 4/1, I would play him, but he’s not. I'd rather take a couple of shots, especially because anything can happen. We are up on the season nicely after our Nick Taylor 100/1 winner, but we are going to still need to keep peeling off some winners. If I remember correctly, we only won two outrights last year, and they were both Robert MacIntyre late in the season. Let’s keep pushing forward.
