If I read the rules correctly, both of these teams still have a chance to advance. Germany and France already have four points but two 3rd place teams will be able to advance. Also, it is important to note that point differential has a role to play in seeding. I think Japan has enough talent to beat Brazil. Although, the Brazilians have played better basketball than I expected. I like Japan to win and I am taking all of these games OVER the total because of the point differential - like how it is important in Futbol like the last day of the Premier League. The lines should already be baked in to reflect that but we will still use this strategy.

Greece technically has a chance to advance with their two points but they will need an upset in this game. Once again, Greece will have to live and die with Giannis. That is not the best recipe for success. Australia cannot take them lightly either to ensure they not only advance but have a comfortable seed. I am sticking with the Aussies.

Will Canada keep their foot on the gas against Spain? As of right now it looks like Canada is the three seed behind USA and Germany. That is if my seeding calculations are correct. Spain can play and I feel like they can keep this game close. Of course it won’t be easy but with Spain’s opportunity to advance I see them playing tough. These are games with pride on the line. Because I have a feeling Canada might sleep walk, I am playing the ML. Player’s choice. Remember during EURO 2024 Futbol the dogs were barking on the last game with their last opportunity to advance? Same process.

Like we mentioned above. Germany has a huge point differential lead but they will need the points against France to cash in that PD. France has the size to match up with the Germans. Can they please give Wemby the ball? Team France has looked like the Spurs playing keep away from Wembanyama. I think France will push Germany. Against Brazil, Germany showed they can get a little lazy. France will push for a win.
