Hurricanes are a great team at home but the Islanders have been able to score some goals almost winning game 2. I think the Islanders again get some goals to snag a win with also putting this game over the short total of 5. If this moves to 5.5 I still like it over.

• 6:30pm cst: Boston Bruins (-140) vs. Florida Panthers

The Panthers proved in game 2 that they can skat and score with the Bruins even on the road. Now, they are back in their home arena looking to take the lead in this series after stealing home ice advantage. I like the Panthers to earn the upset. I thought they would be a short favorite as well so I’m happy to take the plus money here.

• 8:30pm cst: Dallas Stars (-115) vs. Minnesota Wild

The Stars destroyed the Wild last game out. They took advantage of every power play and sent Fleury out to the pasture. Dallas is not as great in Minnesota as they are in the big D. I’m going to scoop up on the Wild tonight based on principle. They just got smashed on the road and the home crowd should be … Wild.

• 9:00pm cst: Edmonton Oilers (-150) vs. Los Angeles Kings

Wow. This is a steep price for an Oilers team that is hard to trust on the road especially after they blew a 3 goal lead in game 1. This is a great time to take the dog with a great goaltender in the net with
