Yes, Minshew Mania is back where it all began. The Colts are a little banged up but so are the Jaguars on the offensive line. The Jags are coming off a massive win against the Bills but they are also coming back home after a couple weeks in the United Kingdom. I’m feeling a big let down spot here! I love when Minshew has full control of the offense. I think he keeps this game close.

• 12:00pm cst: Washington Commanders vs. Atlanta Falcons -1.5; Total 42

As much flack as I have given Desmond Ridder, he sure did show up last weekend. I think he is getting a better feel for the offense. If he can just take care of the football the Falcons should be in good shape. The Commanders are coming off a bye but I rate Ron Rivera as one of the bottom five coaches in the NFL and Jack Del Rio has been an incompetent coordinator. Other than the Commanders coming off a bye week I do not have much of a reason to trust this Commanders defense after the Bears game. I like Atlanta and their pass defense at home.

• 12:00pm cst: New Orleans Saints -1.5 vs. Houston Texans; Total 42

It is no secret, at least it shouldn’t be, that CJ Stroud is a star in the making. Those that have been following us since the NFL Draft know that I was extremely high on Stroud. This Texans team has played great at home and I expect more of that today. The Saints have not been as strong on the road with QB Derek Carr. I do not like this Saints offense but they have a solid defense. When tested, Carr has folded this season. I love this underrated Texans team with Laremy Tunsil back in the starting lineup.
