NBA Round 2 Record: (17-16)

• 2:30pm cst: New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat (-4.5)

In game 2 I didn’t expect Julius Randle to have the impact he did. The Knicks rebounding is such a huge advantage it will be the difference. The Knicks offense ran so well without Jimmy Butler being in the game face guarding Jalen Brunson. With Butler back in it should give Brunson difficulty getting the offense going. This is where Randle will be a big help to the offense handling the ball around the elbows. If Mitchell Robinson and Isaiah Hartenstein can stay out of foul trouble the Knicks should have the upper hand. I feel like these lines should be between 2-4 points but sometimes these games just get away once a team has the lead in the final 3 minutes. So, if you like a team to win outright just play whichever number because the number may not matter unless it is double digits. I like Jimmy Butler’s defense on Brunson but which role players will show up today? The Heat role players have been great. The Knicks have been waiting for a little more help though. If the Knicks can win the 3PT battle or keep it close and then win the rebounding margin again I like them to win this game.
