NBA Round 2 Record: (5-1)

  • 6:30pm cst: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics (-9.5)

We finally get the answer that Embiid will be OUT tonight. I believe that was already baked into the line but now it is official and we can move on. The Celtics have had the76ers number but Philly has kept those games close. Of course that was with Embiid in the lineup. Embiid has been massive for Philadelphia in these matchups and it is difficult to get a handle on the handicap without him. The 76ers have not faced the Celtics without him since 2020 when Al Horford was still on the Sixers. The Celtics are receiving massive steam and this is where I would go contrarian. Sixers still beat the Nets without Embiid but this Celtics team is prime right now unlike the Nets.

Pick: 76ers +10

Tobias Harris Over 16.5 (-130)

James Harden Points, Rebounds & Assists Over 38.5 (-115)

  • 9:00pm cst: Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets (-4)

In game 1 Jamal Murray showed that he is healthy and here to stay as a force in the West. Jokic also had a great game in typical Jokic fashion as well as Aaron Gordon. As we found out last game, Durant and Booker can each score 30+ points and they will still struggle. Ayton isn’t even trying to hustle for rebounds in the paint just giving a pathetic performance and effort. Chris Paul is too old and is getting torched by the younger Denver team. The Denver depth is one of the best in the NBA and Phoenix has one of the worst. Especially for the playoffs.

Pick: Nuggets (-4)

Aaron Gordon Points Over 14.5 (-135)

Michael Porter Jr. Points, Rebounds & Assists Over 23.5 (-135)

***The other games will be posted once more lineup information is available.
