NBA Round 2 Record: (3-0)

  • 12:00pm cst: Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks (-4)

Will Jimmy Butler be screaming “I am Him!” after this series against Tom Thibodeau and the New York Knicks? The Miami Heat pulled off one of the largest upsets in NBA history by defeating the #1 seed Milwaukee Bucks but now must go back on the road to face the Knicks. NY put the Cavaliers in a torture chamber defensively even though they have some great players on that team. I know Jimmy Butler can do it all himself but against this Knicks team I don’t think that will be enough. The Knick defense should be able to lock up the role players the Heat will be trotting out there but you cannot discount HC Erik Spoelstra. I’m not worried about Jimmy Butler and the amount of minutes he has been playing. It’s the other players on the team I’m worried about. I like the Knicks in this series because of its depth, rebounding and defense. I believe all three including Jalen Brunson’s clutch presence will be the difference. I really love the Knicks today with a possible let down spot for Miami after that victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Just waiting for the final word on Julius Randle just because the line will move one way or the other. Julius Randle will be OUT today. I still like the way Knicks play defense without Randel on the floor.

Pick: Knicks (-4)

Jalen Brunson Points, Rebounds & Assists Over 36.5 (-120)

RJ Barrett Points Over 20.5 (-110)

  • 2:00pm cst: Golden State Warriors vs. Sacramento Kings (-1)

We finally have a game 7 and with no surprise it is in the Western Conference. This has been a wild series filled with all of the storylines you could imagine. The Kings had a dominating performance in game 6 on the road but now have no choice but to hold its ground at home. Domantas Sabonis has been getting the shit kicked out of him the entire series. He will be playing with a black eye tonight attempting to slow down the rebounding and interior presence of Draymond Green and Kevon Looney. It has been the Kings’ bench and role players that have made the difference in this series. Malik Monk’s energy and offense off the bench has been unmatched. Davion Mitchell’s ability to face guard and harass Steph Curry has also been a game changer. Rookie Keegan Murray has started to break out and insert himself as an integral part of the offense. Move over Harrison Barnes! The Warriors will need to play the perfect game as they did in game 5 to advance because they definitely will be getting the Kings’ best efforts tonight.

Pick: Kings -1

Davion Mitchell Points Over 6.5 (+105)

Malik Monk Points Over 17.5 (-115)

Keegan Murray Points, Rebounds & Assists Over 19.5 (-125)

***The other games will be posted once more lineup information is available.
