NBA Turn Up: Wednesday Preview

Yesterday was a rough day and we got knocked back down to earth a bit. Grayson Allen and Connaughton weren’t doing much scoring as Brook Lopez and Kris Middleton took over the game. Mark Williams had his first dud of a game as a Hornets starter against the Knicks. Immanuel Quickley came out ice cold and never recovered but I should have known better after all the minutes he played against the Celtics. Reggie Bullock was injured in the 1Q and never came back to the game. The Warrior had a great offensive game but the Thunder had a phenomenal one. We can’t just quit so let’s jump into tonight and get some wins back on the board! All transparency below.

  • [ROT #552]: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Miami Heat (+2); 6:30pm

The Cavaliers are one of the best team in the Eastern Conference and are coming off a huge come from behind home victory against the Celtics. I can see a come down spot here for Cleveland with Miami waiting to take advantage. Two great defenses going at it.

  • [Player Prop]: Josh Green Over 9.5 Points (-120); 6:30pm

Without Bullock I like Green to get even more playing time and some open looks for his corner threes. He can get over this number with more minutes and will come up big for the Mavericks.

  • [Player Prop]: Kyrie Irving Over 37.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists (-110); 6:30pm

I don’t see a lot of defense being played in this game and Kyrie has been hitting over this number easily the past few games. Luka usually torches the Pelicans so I can see Kyrie getting some open looks tonight.

  • [Player Prop]: Jamal Murray Over 20.5 Points (-120); 8:10pm

Chicago does not play any defense and Murray has gone on a steak of 4 straight games over 20 points. I like him to get it to 5 with Denver playing a weaker Eastern Conference team at home.

  • [Player Prop]: Josh Okogie Over 10.5 Points (-115); 8:10pm

With OKC sitting a majority of its players I expect the Suns to get up early in this game, which will allow more playing time for Okogie. Okogie is coming off an 0-8 game and I think he will bounce back tonight.

  • [Player Prop]: Pascal Siakam Over 22.5 Points (-120); 9:10pm

Siakam will post problems for the Clippers on the inside. Siakam had plenty of success when these two have met before. I expect him to take advantage of the mismatches in the post.

  • [Player Prop]: Gary Trent Jr. Over 13.5 Points (-115); 9:10pm

This number is a bit low for Gary Trent coming off of the bench for Toronto. Clippers second unit is much weaker than the Raptors. He should be able to get some shots up with enough playing time. I like him to be successful tonight.
