NBA Turn Up - Playoffs Day 24
NBA Playoffs Sides Record: (-10.00 Units) — Betting 1 Unit to Win X
It’s time for the NBA Playoffs! We had a great NBA season winning over seven units but it’s time for the playoffs. We will have plays on the spread for each game as we did last season when we were very successful. This season we are including our props that are also good to use in PrizePicks lineups from our Prop Department. I will be sticking to sides only after a rough Day 1. Let’s go!
6:00PM CT: Boston Celtics -12.5 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers; Total 207
The Celtics have been great on the road and they showed up in Game 3 after being embarrassed at home. This number was Boston -8 and then shot to -12 very quickly due to Donovan Mitchell being ruled out for the game. Mitchell has been carrying this Cavs team on the offensive side of the ball. Typically, I back the team that has an injured player as they usually have a boost from all of the role players getting a chance to shine. I have seen it far too often when the whole world backs a team like the Celtics looking for an easy cash when the dirty dog is the team that comes out tough as nails. We have nothing to lose, just like the Cavs. This can also get ugly but sometimes you have to take an ugly risk. Time to fire away!

8:30PM CT: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks -1.5; Total 214.5
Dallas has taken control of this series after Game 1 but will it continue. I really like the way Dallas matches up with OKC before the series and I still do. The Mavericks are starting to win the rebound battle and that has correlated to wins. It obviously doesn’t hurt they have also made more three pointers than OKC the past two games. Will PJ Washington continue to stay hot from beyond the arc? He has been huge for Dallas and opening up the middle for Luka is massive. I still like Dallas because I have not changed my number at -4 for the home team. I don’t agree with the line continuing to dip towards OKC. I’m riding with Dallas.
