It’s time for the NBA Playoffs! We had a great NBA season winning over seven units but it’s time for the playoffs. We will have plays on the spread for each game as we did last season when we were very successful. This season we are including our props that are also good to use in PrizePicks lineups from our Prop Department. I will be sticking to sides only after a rough Day 1. Let’s go!
6:00PM CT: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics -13; Total 211
The Celtics have not played a basketball game in almost a week. Will that be a factor if Boston is a little rusty? The Cavaliers played every one of their 7 Games against Orlando where the did not win on the road once. The Celtics ran through the injury plagued Miami Heat but will they have the same success against Cleveland? It does feel like one too many points for the Celtics to be laying after the Cavaliers had success against them this season. Derrick White is the hottest player for Boston right now and it feels like he will need a little more help in this series. Speaking of help, Donovan Mitchell will need some help offensively if the Cavs are going to be competitive in this series. I’ll take the points here. No Jarrett Allen should not be as bad with Porzingins out of the lineup as well.

8:30PM CT: Dallas Mavericks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder -4.5; Total 219.5
The Thunder dominated this series during the season but if you look closer it was because the Mavericks were not at full health. When Dallas had their whole team in the lineup, they dominated the Thunder the one game in Dallas. Dallas will have the size advantage, which does give the Thunder issues. New Orleans suffered due to poor coaching and did not try and take advantage of their size against OKC. Dallas will definitely look to exploit them. I’ll take the points here with a line that suggest the Mavericks (a hook on the 4 in basketball). Because of how hot Dallas is I am also playing them on the ML. OKC struggled in Game 1 in Round 1 and they have not played in a while.
