NBA Playoffs Sides Record: (-6.56 Units) — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

It’s time for the NBA Playoffs! We had a great NBA season winning over seven units but it’s time for the playoffs. We will have plays on the spread for each game as we did last season when we were very successful. This season we are including our props that are also good to use in PrizePicks lineups from our Prop Department. I will be sticking to sides only after a rough Day 1. Let’s go!

  • 6:00pm ct: Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks -4.5; Total 204

How much do the 76ers and Joel Embiid really have in the tank? They have played tough all series but they just have not been able to slam the door on the Knicks. Elimination game in New York, I think the Knicks will take care of business. The 76ers are like the Lakers, they can’t close late. Whether it’s coaching, stamina or skill, these teams cannot close the door and it shows. I expect a hard fought game but the Knicks will pull away. Also, in years past, the Sixers have been terrible closers.

Play: Knicks -4.5 (-105) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:30pm ct: Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers -5.5; Total 202.5

Orlando finally got a spark of offense at home but on the road they have been a totally different team. Cleveland has great size and have been dominating the boards at home. The other important factor is they make their open shots, especially from deep that sets them apart. I can only look to the Cavs due to how lifeless the Magic have played on the road.

Play: Cavaliers -5.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 8:30pm ct: Indiana Pacers -5 vs. Milwaukee Bucks; Total 217

Unlike most teams that we have watched this past week, the Bucks have fought tooth and nail to try and stay in these games short-handed. The Bucks will be without Giannis and Dame once again tonight. We have not been afraid to take shots and this will be one of those times. Bucks may come out of this with a spirited effort. The Pacers have been great at home but if the Bucks’ home crowd give them a bit of a push like they did in Game 1 they can steal one. With the majority of these series, mostly pride will be on the line tonight.
