NBA Playoffs Sides Record: (-4.72 Units) — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

It’s time for the NBA Playoffs! We had a great NBA season winning over seven units but it’s time for the playoffs. We will have plays on the spread for each game as we did last season when we were very successful. This season we are including our props that are also good to use in PrizePicks lineups from our Prop Department. I will be sticking to sides only after a rough Day 1. Let’s go!

  • 12:00pm ct: New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers -5.5; Total 209.5

The Sixers have dominated all three games but they only have one win to show for it. They were finally able to close out a game in Game 3 in Philly. Can they do it again? Rumors continue to swirl about Joel Embiid’s health but continues to dominate the paint. Like many of these series, they all come down to the three point line. If the correlation continues in this series the home team will win by at least six points. I’m still backing the Sixers.

Play: 76ers -5.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:40pm ct: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Dallas Mavericks -6; Total 209.5

The Clippers embarrassed themselves in Dallas in Game 3. Will they bounce back? The Clippers’ stars were complete no shows to the game. Will they show up in this game? Kawhi is out and the last time he was out the Clippers won. We will find out how much pride they have because of the nonsense that went on in Game 3. I think they will bounce back after making fools of themselves.

Play: Clippers +7 (-110) [via DraftKings]

Play: Clippers ML (+225) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:00pm ct: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers -10; Total 215.5

We know that the Bucks will be without Giannis and Dame Lillard. They played tough last game thanks to Dame and Khris Middleton going off. Will they be able to muster another huge game and steal a win? It’ll be tough. With Damian Lillard out of the game the Bucks will be playing a very loose style of basketball. To paraphrase Bobby Portis, the Indiana Pacers are front runners and struggle when adversity strikes. Can the Bucks put them in a situation to take advantage? I think they will do it. Just like we loved the Clippers today, I love buying on teams with a little adversity. There is also the possibility that Haliburton is not 100%. Small chance but still something to play on.

Play: Bucks +10 (-110) [via DraftKings]

Play: Bucks ML (+330) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Patrick Beverly Points + Rebounds + Assists OVER 20.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Brook Lopes Points + Rebounds + Assists OVER 22.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Pascal Siakam Rebounds OVER 9.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 8:30pm ct: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Phoenix Suns -1; Total 212.5

Will the trend continue with home teams trying to avoid the sweep? Will the Suns actually bounce back from embarrassment? This will be know easy task but my goodness the Suns have been disrespected this series. Deservedly so with their attempts at building a quick fix NBA team. The days of Super Teams are over. The T-Wolves should roll on the Suns but it will have to wait until Game 5 back in Minnesota for the Gentleman’s Sweep or should I say, D-Generation X Sweep.

Play: Suns -1 (-110) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Devin Booker Points OVER 25.5 (-105) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Anthony Edwards Rebounds + Assists OVER 10.5 (-135) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Karl-Anthony Towns Rebounds OVER 7.5 (+102) [via DraftKings]
