NBA Turn Up - Playoffs Day 8
NBA Playoffs Sides Record: (-6.19 Units) — Betting 1 Unit to Win X
It’s time for the NBA Playoffs! We had a great NBA season winning over seven units but it’s time for the playoffs. We will have plays on the spread for each game as we did last season when we were very successful. This season we are including our props that are also good to use in PrizePicks lineups from our Prop Department. I will be sticking to sides only after a rough Day 1. Let’s go!
11:00am ct: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic -2; Total 201.5
The Magic finally had the three pointer falling for them in Game 3. This is obviously a massive game for Orlando. They can sign their death certificate for the series if they lose this game. Paolo Banchero showed what he can do in Game 2 and I think it’s time for Franz Wagner to show out a bit. I think the Magic take care of business and make this series a bit more interesting as they head back to Cleveland for Game 4.
Play: Magic -2 (-110) [via DraftKings]
2:30pm ct: Oklahoma City Thunder -1.5 vs. New Orleans Pelicans; Total 209.5
The Pelicans played a hard fought game the first go around but were blown out in Game 2. They still have a great size advantage. I think the Pelicans are good for a strong home stand. I think the Pelicans get one back but this game will again come down to the 3PT shooting and rebounding. I think NO will have the edge today.
Play: Pelicans ML (+105) [via DraftKings]
5:00pm ct: Boston Celtics -10 vs. Miami Heat; Total 205
No Delon Wright in this game so the point guard situation looks dicey for Miami. Can the Heat win back-to-back to take the series lead? They don’t have much of a home court advantage. The Celtics 3PT defense was horrible in Game 2. Duncan Robinson should get more minutes and there is a chance Miami can steal another win if they can hit some threes. They have to play tough defense against the Celts. I think this number is still too steep!
Play: Heat +10 (-110) [via DraftKings]
Play: Heat ML (+360) [via DraftKings]
9:00pm ct: Denver Nuggets -3.5 vs. Los Angeles Lakers; Total 219.5
I think this LA team is DOA. Dead on Arrival to the Staples Center (or whatever they call it now). The Denver Nuggets own this team and I think the Lakers have checked out after LeBron said basketball is just for fun. Nuggets will dominate and move on.
Play: Nuggets -3.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
Play: UNDER 219.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
