• 3:00pm cst: Colorado Rockies vs. Texas Rangers (-190)

Jon Gray will be on the mound for the Rangers going against his old team. The Rockies will be pitching Kyle Freeland but Texas enjoys going against LHP. Gray has been one of the best pitchers in the American League and I expect that to continue today against the Rockies.

Pick: Under 8.5 (-110)

• 3:00pm cst: Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Phillies (-165)

Last night the Cubs jumped all over the Phillies and there was no letting up. Today the Cubs will have Jameson Taillon on the mound against Aaron Nola. Late money came on the Phillies to push this number to -165 about 10 cents higher than what it was when I began writing this portion.

Pick: Under 9 (-115)

• 3:00pm cst: Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (-150)

The Pirates destroyed the Diamondbacks last night 13-3 in a blowout. Now the Dbacks have to go against a red hot Mitch Keller when they have a SP who is currently ice cold. I lean towards the over in a fade of the Diamondbacks SP Brandon Pfaadt. This is a cheap price for Keller so I’ll go that route.

Pick: Pirates (-150)

• 3:00pm cst: Miami Marlins vs. San Francisco Giants (-165)

The Marlins’ winning streak was snapped last night and today they will have Braxton Garrett on the mound against Logan Webb. Webb has been dominant for us before his injury and now after. He looked good in his last start and I like to go back to Webb and the Giants’ offense against Garrett.

• 3:00pm cst: Detroit Tigers vs. Washington Nationals (-120)

I don’t agree with the Nationals being favored here with Patrick Corbin on the mound. Alex Faedo is a solid starter and this will be his 3rd start of the season. I like the Tigers in this matchup.

• 3:00pm cst: Oakland Athletics vs. Houston Astros (-295)

The line is extremely high but it’s a fair price with Hunter Brown going for Houston. Oakland will have LHP JP Sears on the mound who has been able to hold his own this season but isn’t perfect. I like the under here with both of these pitchers on the mound it could get blown up with the Astros offense. I’m rolling the dice.

Pick: Under 8.5 (+100)

• 3:00pm cst: Milwaukee Brewers vs. Tampa Bay Rays (-200)

The Brewers went toe to toe with the Rays last night but I don’t think they will have the same success tonight. LHP Eric Lauer will be on the mound for the Brewers and unfortunately for him the Rays devour LHP. I see plenty of runs on the board today to make up for yesterday.

• 3:00pm cst: New York Yankees (-140) vs. Cincinnati Reds

We didn’t get the runs we were looking for yesterday but I think they will come today.
