Dirtbags MLB Wednesday

Yesterday’s DDSN Player of the Day was Framber Valdez who pitched 8 innings with 12 strikeouts, 0 walks and only allowed 1 earned run.

These prices are per Draft Kings, which are similar to FanDuel if those are available to you. Some use off shore accounts that have more juice than what is listed or are unavailable. If H+R+RBI is unavailable to you then I suggest you split a 1 unit bet 33% each or whatever % you’d like to 1 or 2 hits, 1 run & 1 RBI. You should get + money on 2/3 of those and that will help long term. Or find a way to pair them up in 2’s or 3’s (parlay). For baseball season, I personally bet 1 unit to win X and don’t lay more than -160. This is refers most to player props. Questions? Just ask!

Early Slate

  • 5:30pm cst: Tampa Bay Rays (-115) vs. Baltimore Orioles

It only took the Orioles one game to break its longest losing streak of the season. Baltimore will have Dean Kremer on the mound tonight who yet to earn a win against the Rays in his career. Reliever Jason Beeks will open up the game for the Rays. This may be the perfect time to buy on the Orioles when the Rays are not starting any of its stud pitchers.

Pick: Over 9.5 (-105)

  • 5:30pm cst: New York Mets (-155) vs. Cincinnati Reds

Justin Verlander will be making his 2nd start of the season tonight against Hunter Greene and the Reds. Verlander had 5 strikeouts but was roughed up a bit by the Tigers. Two power pitchers going at it tonight against struggling offenses. Let’s go that route at a couple plus money prices. It is always tough playing K props to reach 7 but at plus money its worth the shot.

Pick: Justin Verlander Strikeouts Over 6.5 (+120)

Hunter Greene Strikeouts Over 6.5 (+115)

  • 6:00pm cst: Boston Red Sox vs. Atlanta Braves (-175)

The Braves will be starting for the first time, LHP reliever Dylan Lee against the Red Sox’s Brayan Bello. The total is set at 10 runs but what I like is how much improvement Bello has shown recently. Let’s hope he keeps it up and take this game under.

Pick: Under 10 (-120)

  • 6:30pm cst: St. Louis Cardinals (-115) vs. Chicago Cubs

LHP Jordan Montgomery will be on the mound for the Cardinals tonight and he has been a shutdown pitcher against the Cubs. The Cardinals have also won three in a row while the Cubs have now lost 3 in a row. The Cubs will have LHP Justin Steele on the mound who does not have great numbers against the Cardinals. Montgomery’s numbers are too good too ignore with a price like this.

Pick: Cardinals (-115)

  • 6:30pm cst: San Diego Padres vs. Minnesota Twins (-130)

This is a great interleague pitching matchup with the Padres throwing Seth Lugo against the Twins’ Pablo Lopez. This is a great bounce back position for the Twins and its offense after almost being shut out last night. This price screams Twins victory.

Pick: Twins (-130)

  • 6:30pm cst: Chicago White Sox (-145) vs. Kansas City Royals

Lance Lynn has had a poor start to the season but has the Royals’ number. Brad Keller’s numbers are the opposite and has not had success against the White Sox. I felt like the under would be the way to go but things could get out of control for either side at anytime. This is a cheap price to take a shot with the White Sox.

Pick: White Sox (-145)

Lance Lynn Strikeouts Over 5.5 (-140)
