Early Slate
12:10PM CST: Oakland A’s (+154) vs. New York Mets (-185); Total 8.5
The Mets finally won a game last night 9-1 and now a quick turnaround to finish the series for both teams. The wind is blowing in as well. Oakland’s Mitch Spence and LHP Jose Quintana have both loss two games in a row so I expect them to be locked in today. Focused pitching, quick turn around and the wind blowing in equates to an under for me.

12:00PM CST: Seattle Mariners (-135) vs. Detroit Tigers (+114); Total 8.5
Don’t look now but the Tigers are going to try and sweep the Mariners. Seattle choked their lead last night so should be looking for a win today (obviously). Bryce Miller has been lights out in his career against the Tigers (2023). Third times a charm? We are betting on it.

1:00PM CST: Los Angeles Dodgers (-135) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (+114); Total 8
I should have released this one earlier when LA was -125. They were about -155 late last night and moved to -125 and now -135. The Dodgers had a great game last night but still loss. It was mostly due to errors. Brewers escaped. I don’t think it happens again. I’m backing the Dodgers.

2:45PM CST: Atlanta Braves (-108) vs. San Francisco Giants (-112); Total 7
I thought the Braves got the sweep last night but they have one more game against the Giants. The SF bats are cold right now and going against a LHP in Max Fried may not be the cure. Atlanta is starting to build some confidence back. All my numbers point towards the Braves again.

Evening Slate
5:35PM CST: Boston Red Sox (+130) vs. Baltimore Orioles (-155); Total 8.5
Zach Eflin has been pretty good for the Orioles but he struggles mightily against the Red Sox. This is a big series for the Sox against the O’s. Nick Pivetta has great numbers against Baltimore. I’m scooping the plus money based on the pitching matchup.

5:40PM CST: Washington Nationals (+210) vs. Philadelphia Phillies (-258); Total 8
Zach Wheeler is on the mound for the Phillies but he has surprisingly been terrible against the Nationals. The Nats will have LHP Mitchell Parker on the mound who has not given up an earned run in his last two starts. The Phillies do like to hit LHP but I don’t like Wheeler’s numbers. Eight feels like a light total.

7:00PM CST: Minnesota Twins (-120) vs. Texas Rangers (+100); Total 8
I cannot get behind LHP Cody Bradford. I hate the Rangers numbers against Ober. I think I am forcing myself to go back and play a total… My initial thoughts were Rangers ML so I will also go that route. No Corey Seager in the lineup.
