MLB Units for July (-0.43 units)

Early Slate

  • 5:30PM CST: Toronto Blue Jays (+180) vs. Baltimore Orioles (-218); Total 8.5

The Blue Jays have been trying to turn their season around but it might be too little too late. The Orioles have been buyers at the trade deadline looking to hold onto the division lead. Corbin Burnes has been great against the Jays. I’m going to back him.

Play: Orioles -1.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:50PM ST: Miami Marlins (+140) vs. Tampa Bay Rays (-166); Total 7

The Marlins have played better recently but have traded so many of their assets this week. The Rays are still full systems go even with their recent trades. Tampa Bay has been the kings of sell high, buy low and reload.

Play: Rays -1.5 (+124) [via DraftKings]

Evening Slate

  • 6:00PM CST: Minnesota Twins (+100) vs. New York Mets (-120); Total 8.5

The Mets are locked in right now. I don’t trust David Festa on the mound for Minnesota. Sean Manaea has been great for us and the Mets. Great price. Tread lightly after Mets blew out the Twins yesterday.

Play: Mets (-120) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:00PM CST: Seattle Mariners (-120) vs. Boston Red Sox (+100); Total 10.5

Luis Castillo on the mound after the Mariners got beat up by the Red Sox last night. I like the Red Sox’s success against Castillo. Again, big win last night from Boston so tread lightly.

Play: Red Sox (+100) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:45PM CST: Texas Rangers (-120) vs. St. Louis Cardinals (+100); Total 8.5

Max Scherzer has been having a strong but quiet season so far. I think the Rangers are starting to build up some momentum for the postseason. The division is up for grabs. Another Lance Lynn fade.

Play: Rangers (-120) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00PM CST: Atlanta Braves (-105) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (-115); Total 8.5

Bryce Elder has been ice cold for the Braves. Now, the offense has been shaky. Brewers are hot. Joe Ross has not been great but the bats are hot. I have to fade Elder based on what I have seen from him. Yips.

Play: Brewers (-115) [via DraftKings]
