Early Slate

• 5:40PM CST: New York Mets (-148) vs. Miami Marlins (+124); Total 8.5

Yonny Chirinos has not been sharp for the Marlins. Mets will have LHP David Peterson on the mound who has been much better. Marlins also struggle against LHP.

• 5:40PM CST: Detroit Tigers (-135) vs. Cleveland Guardians (+114); Total 7

The Tigers are red hot and the Guardians have hit a rough patch their past ten games. Cleveland has been great at home but not as of late. I am going to take Tarik Skubal and the red hot Tigers.

Evening Slate

• 6:00PM CST: Cincinnati Reds (+120) vs. Atlanta Braves (-142); Total 7.5

The Braves have been dealing with injuries and it seems like there is a new one every day. While Cincinnati has gone cold losing four games in a row. Something has to give in this series. I’m backing the Braves at home.

• 7:00PM CST: Milwaukee Brewers (-120) vs. Chicago Cubs (+100); Total 8.5

I don’t agree with this line one bit. I thought the Cubs were going to be strong favorites in this game. Tobias Myers has been blown up by the Cubs twice this year. The price and the fading of Tobias is the way I’m going.

• 7:00PM CST: Arizona Diamondbacks (+130) vs. Kansas City Royals (-155); Total 8

This is setting up for a great pitching matchup. D-Backs young SP Yilber Diaz is on the mound against Cole Ragans. Arizona struggles against LHP. Cole Ragans and this KC offense is too hot to pass.
