• 12:00pm ct: Los Angeles Angels (+136) vs. Tampa Bay Rays (-162); Total 8.5

This is a great time to buy somewhat low on Ryan Peppiot against a struggling Griffin Canning. To me, this is a great price on Peppiot. Canning is struggling and has yet to put together a strong start. Peppiot hasn’t been perfect but I rather back him to bounce back like he did after his first start.

It’s the long awaited debut of Texas Rangers’ prospect Jack Leiter. He has a great chance to make a dazzling debut against this Tigers offense. Kenta Maeda has struggled to start the season.

The Red Sox’ Brennan Bernandino will be making his first career start after coming out of the bullpen last year. He does have a low ERA and has kept that consistent. That’s more than what Carlos Carrasco can say. The wind is blowing in heavily at Fenway Park.
