MLB Handicaps: Day 13
Credit: Dallas Morning News
If H+R+RBI is unavailable to you then I suggest you split a 1 unit bet 33% each or whatever % you’d like to 1 or 2 hits, 1 run & 1 RBI. You should get + money on 2/3 of those and that will help long term. Or find a way to pair them up in 2’s or 3’s (parlay). For baseball season, I personally bet 1 unit to win X and don’t lay more than -165. These plays also work great with PrizePicks. Questions? Just ask! Follow for more!
MLB Units for March/April (-2.51 units)
Early Slate
Evening Slate
6:40pm cst: Los Angeles Dodgers (-185) vs. Minnesota Twins (+154); Total 8
The Twins are not off to the hottest start to the season. New Dodgers pitcher, Tyler Glasnow is off to a very hot start. The wind is also blowing out at Target Field and I think the Dodgers offense can take advantage of Twins’ Louie Varland.
Pick: Dodgers -1.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]
6:40pm cst: Houston Astros (-120) vs. Kansas City Royals (+100); Total 8.5
I was surprised to see the Astros favored and Cole Ragans an underdog. Astros have been struggling against lefties early in the season. I really prefer Ragans over Christian Javier especially at this price.
Pick: Royals (+100) [via DraftKings]
7:00pm cst: Oakland Athletics (+170) vs. Texas Rangers (-205); Total 9
Nathan Eovaldi at home against the A’s? Yeah, I’ll go ahead and take my chances with the Rangers off back to back losses. Davis Wendzel will be making his major league debut so we have to back him as well.
Pick: Rangers -1.5 (-102) [via DraftKings]
Pick: Davis Wendzel Total Bases H+R+RBI OVER 1.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]
Night Slate
7:30pm cst: Arizona Diamondbacks (-170) vs. Colorado Rockies (+142); Total 11
Arizona is on a five game losing streak and with Merrill Kelly on the mound that may be the remedy they need. It doesn’t hurt that Cal Quantrill has struggled and the new Diamondbacks batters have had solid success against him. Time for the D-Backs to get back.
Pick: Diamondbacks -1.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]
9:00pm cst: Chicago Cubs (+114) vs. San Diego Padres (-135); Total 8
The Cubs will be having a reliever to start the game it looks like with Ben Brown. He got destroyed all season. Anytime I can get Joe Musgrove at home at a cheap price I will take it.
Pick: Padres (-135) [via DraftKings]
