Early Slate

Evening Slate

  • 5:40PM CT: Texas Rangers (-155) vs. Cincinnati Reds (+130); Total 8.5

The Rangers got smacked in the mouth last night. Kumar Rocker was roughed up a bit and Elly De La Cruz got hot. Today is a different story, I think. There will be a large pitching difference in this one. Nathan Eovaldi will be on the mound for Texas against Cincinnati’s Carson Spires. This is a nice price for the spot for Texas.

Play: Rangers (-155) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:00PM CT: Pittsburgh Pirates (+145) vs. Tampa Bay Rays (-175); Total 9

Pirates rookie Tom Harrington is making his debut against Shane Baz. I can see a pitching duel in this one. Harrington is a Top 100 MLB prospect. The Pirates need some kind of spark as well. I think this one stays UNDER the total.

Play: UNDER 9 (-115) [via DraftKings]
Play: Tom Harrington OVER 3.5 Strikeouts (+105) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:00PM CT: WSH Nationals (+136) vs. Toronto Blue Jays (-162); Total 8.5

Jose Berrios making his way back to the mound after getting blown up in his last start. He has loss three in a row dating back to last year. Washington’s pitcher Trevor Williams has been hot. I think this carries over. Berrios cannot be trusted until proven otherwise. I’ll take a shot with the dog in this one.

Play: Nationals (+136) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:40PM CT: Minnesota Twins (-166) vs. Chicago White Sox (+140); Total 7.5

Another pitcher making his debut tonight, Shane Smith for the White Sox. The Twins are still looking for their first win of the season. This is a perfect spot with a nice price on the White Sox. We love backing pitchers making their debut and because they are the White Sox, it’s plus money. Pressure is on Minnesota.

Play: White Sox (+140) [via DraftKings]

Night Slate

  • 9:00PM CT: Chicago Cubs (-135) vs. Oakland Athletics (+114); Total 8

The Cubs really laid into the A’s last night. I think they get a little bit of revenge tonight. This is going to be a great pitching duel tonight. I think the A’s get the win lead by SP Luis Severino.

Play: Athletics (+114) [via DraftKings]
Play: UNDER 8 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 9:00PM CT: Atlanta Braves (+110) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (-130); Total 7.5

The Braves are still winless, which means we will continue to fade them. The Dodgers will have Dustin May on the mound looking to come back as strong as ever from injury. Chris Sale has always struggled against the Dodgers and LA is red hot right now. Gotta ride LA at this price.

Play: Dodgers (-130) [via DraftKings]
