MLB Handicaps: Sunday

If H+R+RBI is unavailable to you then I suggest you split a 1 unit bet 33% each or whatever % you’d like to 1 or 2 hits, 1 run & 1 RBI. You should get + money on 2/3 of those and that will help long term. Or find a way to pair them up in 2’s or 3’s (parlay). For baseball season, I personally bet 1 unit to win X and don’t lay more than -165. These plays also work great with PrizePicks. Questions? Just ask! Follow for more!

Early Slate
12:30pm cst: Los Angeles Angels (+124) vs. Baltimore Orioles (-148); Total 8.5
The Angels have been getting beat up by the Orioles the first two games of the season. O’s starter Tyler Wells hasn’t had any success against the Angels. Will LA be able to steal a game with Reid Detmers on the mound who has been great against Baltimore? Might be time to take a chance with the Halos.
Pick: Angels (+124) [via DraftKings]
12:30pm cst: Washington Nationals (+145) vs. Cincinnati Reds (-175); Total 9.5
Cincinnati will have Nick Martinez on the mound who has been great. Last year he finished the season with less than one earned run. I expect him to be locked in against the Nats today.
Pick: Reds -1.5 (+114) [via DraftKings]
12:30pm cst: Pittsburgh Pirates (+124) vs. Miami Marlins (-148); Total 8.5
Miami has struggled in this matchup but today they will have a favorably matchup for their offense. Miami’s pitching still has me hesitant so let’s look at the props.
Pick: Josh Bell H+R+RBI OVER 1.5 (-130) [via DraftKings]
Pick: Jake Burger H+R+RBI OVER 1.5 (-145) [via DraftKings]
1:00pm cst: New York Yankees (-102) vs. Houston Astros (-118); Total 9.5
The Astros have been struggling especially after getting a lead on the Yankees. In this game, Yankees will have a good chance to jump out in front of the Astros and lean on their bullpen to take home the win with JP France on the mound for Houston. Backing this Yankees lineup fading JP France.
Pick: Yankees (-102) [via DraftKings]
1:00pm cst: Minnesota Twins (-122) vs. Kansas City Royals (+102); Total 9
Both of these pitchers Bailey Ober for the Twins and Brady Singer for the Royals were rough up all of last season. Will they bounce back or will it be more of the same? This will be our first total of the year. Let’s see how it goes.
Pick: OVER 9 (-115) [via DraftKings]
1:30pm cst: Chicago Cubs (+110) vs. Texas Rangers (-130); Total 9
Jon Gray will be on the mound for Texas and if he is healthy I think he will be back to his best form like he was at the beginning of last season. We still don’t know what to expect from the Cubs’ pitching. I’m backing this Texas offense on a cheap number.
Pick: Rangers (-130) [via DraftKings]
Pick: Wyatt Langford H+R+RBI OVER 1.5 (-120) [via DraftKings]
3:00pm cst: Boston Red Sox (+100) vs. Seattle Mariners (-120); Total 7.5
The Red Sox have been hit or miss for us so far especially after that blown lead last night. Instead of backing the Sox on the ML let’s take a look at a couple props fading Bryce Miller.
Pick: Triston Casas H+R+RBI OVER 1.5 (+120) [via DraftKings]
Pick: Masataka Yoshida H+R+RBI OVER 1.5 (+100) [via DraftKings]
Evening Slate
Night Slate
6:00pm cst: St. Louis Cardinals (+136) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (-162); Total 8.5
I don’t think it is crazy to fade the Dodgers, especially starting pitcher Gavin Stone who was quite awful last season. Let’s back the Cardinals and because it is prime-time, we will also have some props!
Pick: Cardinals (+136) [via DraftKings]
Pick: Steven Matz Strikeouts OVER 5.5 (+110) [via DraftKings]
Pick: Gavin Stone Strikeouts UNDER 4.5 (-125) [via DraftKings]
Pick: Nolan Gorman H+R+RBI OVER 1.5 (+110) [via DraftKings]
