College Baseball: #8 Stanford and #9 Miami Regionals: Day 3

We have made it to the NCAA Tournament where we will be previewing all of the NCAA Regionals giving as much information as possible. The articles will paired with the regionals that would match up in Supers. We will have wagers throughout the weekend and futures plays for the World Series and Regional winners if they post them. Our wagers are betting 1 unit to win x and for baseball we do not go lower than -165. This is a steep price but there are opportunities where the number should be -200 so this is why that is our limit. Check out our home page where all the regional handicaps will be daily.

NCAA Tournament Record (-4.14 units)

Stanford Regional

  • 2:00pm cst: Cal State Fullerton Titans (+185) vs. Stanford Cardinal (-230)

Pick: Stanford -2.5 (-105)

  • 9:00pm cst: Stanford Cardinal (-120) vs. Texas A&M Aggies (-110)

Stanford was a be erratic in its elimination game against Fullerton. They will need to have a better defensive and pitching performance if they want to take down these Aggies. Stanford is at home and I believe they should have won the first game so I’m going with the Cardinal.

Pick: Stanford (-120)

Miami Regional

  • 11:00am cst: Louisiana Rajun Cajuns (+150) vs. Miami Hurricanes (-185)

Pick: Miami -1.5

  • 5:00pm cst: Miami Hurricanes (-125) vs. Texas Longhorns (-105)

Miami had a great bounce back performance against Louisiana but now face a UT pitching staff who has been stifling every offense they have faced. Tanner Witt gets the start for the Longhorns who usually goes 3 innings or less. Unfortunately, he usually gets rocked and allows at least 3 runs with a starting ERA over 8. I have to fade him and go with Miami here.

Pick: Miami (-125) & Miami -1.5 (+120)

College World Series Futures (0-0):

  • X

We will be choosing a College World Series winner out of these groupings so a total of 8. This will be monitored throughout the weekend and updated.

It’s either going to be Texas or Miami here. Both have shorter numbers. We just missed the cutoff so we will be back tomorrow with a play for this side of the bracket.
