College Baseball: #8 Stanford and #9 Miami Regionals

We have made it to the NCAA Tournament where we will be previewing all of the NCAA Regionals giving as much information as possible. The articles will paired with the regionals that would match up in Supers. We will have wagers throughout the weekend and futures plays for the World Series and Regional winners if they post them. Our wagers are betting 1 unit to win x and for baseball we do not go lower than -165. This is a steep price but there are opportunities where the number should be -200 so this is why that is our limit. Check out our home page where all the regional handicaps will be daily.

NCAA Tournament Record (0.00 units)

Stanford Regional

  • 4:00pm cst: #4 San Jose State Aztecs (+230) vs. #1 Stanford Cardinal (-290)

SJSU did not have many high profile wins to compare to Stanford. The loss against the top competition they faced. Stanford should not have any issues in this game. Total is too high for me. [3:31pmcst: late add on Stanford]

Pick: Stanford -2.5 (-110)

  • 9:00pm cst: #3 Cal State Fullerton Titans (+150) vs. #2 Texas A&M Aggies (-185)

Cal State Fullerton is not its typical dominant self this season. The Aggies had a decent season after plenty of pre season hype. The A&M pitching in the SEC tournament was close to unhittable. I like the Aggies to stay hot.

Pick: Texas A&M -1.5 (+105)

Miami Regional

  • 1:00pm cst: #3 Louisiana Rajun Cajuns (+155) vs. #2 Texas Longhorns (-190)

Louisiana finished the season hot even though they lost to Southern Miss in the Sun Belt Championship game. Lucas Gordon will be on the mound for the Longhorns so the -190 makes sense here but the runs may go under.

Pick: Texas -1.5 (+105)

  • 6:00pm cst: #4 Maine Black Bears (+300) vs. #1 Miami Hurricanes (-400)

Miami has the stronger team and one of the best teams in the country. They should be able to make quick work here. Maine can score some runs so you never know.

Pick: Over 13 (-115)

College World Series Futures (0-0):

  • X

We will be choosing a College World Series winner out of these groupings so a total of 8. This will be monitored throughout the weekend and updated.

It’s either going to be Texas or Miami here. Both have shorter numbers. We just missed the cutoff so we will be back tomorrow with a play for this side of the bracket.
