College Baseball: #5 Baton Rouge & #12 Lexington Final Game
We have made it to the NCAA Tournament where we will be previewing all of the NCAA Regionals giving as much information as possible. The articles will paired with the regionals that would match up in Supers. We will have wagers throughout the weekend and futures plays for the World Series and Regional winners if they post them. Our wagers are betting 1 unit to win x and for baseball we do not go lower than -165. This is a steep price but there are opportunities where the number should be -200 so this is why that is our limit. Check out our home page where all the regional handicaps will be daily.
Baton Rouge Regional
1:00pm cst: Oregon State Beavers (+165) vs. LSU Tigers (-205)
Remember this is an elimination game for Oregon State but not for LSU due to weather delays pushed this regional back a day. As y’all know LSU is one of our probably top 5 teams right now. Oregon State is no slouch and a perennial power. LSU has 6 National Championships (tied with Texas for 2nd) and OSU 3 all time. I was hoping we could get a -1.5 with LSU but it is set at -2.5. I don’t think this is a spot where the Beavers get destroyed. I do think this total is much too high at 16.5. I lean towards the Beavers to extend as well.
Pick: Under 16.5 (-120)
Lexington Regional
5:00pm cst: Indiana Hoosiers (+200) vs. Kentucky Wildcats (-250)
Has the Hoosiers magic run out after Kentucky wiped the floor with them last night? It’s possible. We have liked Kentucky all season and after its loss to Indiana they seemed to have awaken. It is pricey to play UK and I do not want to lay -2.5 but I like this game to go over the total.
Pick: Over 12.5 Runs (-120)
College World Series Futures:
Sam Houston State 200/1 (via Draft Kings)
We will be choosing a College World Series winner out of these groupings so a total of 8. This will be monitored throughout the weekend and updated.
Ok so let’s be real here. LSU is the best team in these regionals but they are 8/1 to win the National Championship. That does not leave us with much wiggle room. Kentucky is 30/1 and definitely has a shot at coming out of Supers. For me the best way to go for a lotto is this Sam Houston State team whose offense is red hot and if they keep it going they can beat anyone. At 200/1 that is where I want my money.
