We finally get the match of the tournament with Spain taking on Germany on their home soil. These have arguably been the best two teams of Euro 2024. The two best offenses for sure. I can see this game being defensive like the last time these two faced off with each other in the World Cup when it ended 1-1. I think we get another draw. I don’t see these two running and gunning searching for goals. It will be a much slower and patient match. Instead of choosing a moneyline. We are buying futures again on both teams and hope for a draw. We will be hedge on the winner either way.

Neither of these teams have lived up to expectations in my opinion. Portugal was on the verge of defeat in their last match but survived in Penalty Kicks thanks to a heroic performance from goaltender Diego Costa. With Mbappe wearing the mask it feels like it has bothered him, which has led to no goals aside a PK. I think this will be another slow, methodical game. France has shown they are ok with playing at a slow pace. They just have not found the back of the net as easy as they typically do. I think this also ends in a draw. The attacking just has not been great from either side. I also am posting before I see the lineups. France needs Griezmann in the starting XII to help create. The last time these two met was in the 2022 World Cup that ended 2-2 in Penalty Kicks. This is a different France squad offensively.
