Don’t look now but Slovakia is not only in a key position in Group E but they are also red hot. Ukraine was destroyed by Romania so they will be looking for a much needed win. Austria had a great defensive showing against France in Match 1, only losing by an unfortunate own goal. Poland was lucky the Netherlands did not blow them out although it was an easy win. Both teams need a victory to try and advance as a third place team. I think Austria get the job done and leans on their defense.

It sounds like Mbappe will be coming off the bench after breaking his nose in Match 1 and Marcus Thuram will be lined up as forward with Griezmann to his left and Dembele to his right. Both teams have three points so we don’t know if they will be pushing or happy to take a low scoring draw into the next round. Although the Spain vs. Italy match went under, Spain continued to push hard. I think we may get that type of effort in this match. The Netherlands has already lost twice to France in qualifiers for this tournament. I think we see plenty of speed and goals in this game to go with the theme of today. Netherlands has lost the last four out of five against France.
